And if youre returning from a career break, ask us how we can help you transition back into work with us.</div><div><div>Bring your skills to the mix as a Principal Waste Water Process Engineer, youll play a vital role in every aspect of process engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.</div><div>We specialise in all aspects of process engineering, within the water industry, including waste-water and bioresources treatment, both in the UK and internationally, with opportunities in other sectors such as nuclear. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle from feasibility to process commissioning adding value through client-side support. We currently have opportunities in our Bristol office.Your purpose:<ul><li>Lead a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.</li><li>Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.</li><li>Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.</li><li>Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.</li><li>Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.</li></ul>What you can bring:<ul><li>Chartered Chemical / Process Engineer (preferably IChemE or CIWEM).</li><li>Experience in leading design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.</li><li>Fundamental understanding and experience of integrated waste-water and bioresources treatment process.</li><li>Design and/or operational experience of main process unit operations: primary / secondary / tertiary treatment, bioresource treatment and disposal, odour and energy management.</li><li>Experience of process safety techniques (HAZOP / DSEAR), capital and operational costs assessments, whole life carbon assessments as well as knowledge of UK environmental regulations.</li><li>Awareness of process modelling techniques and software, e.g. BioWIn, SUMO.</li></ul>Why work for AtkinsRéalis?Were ranked as one of LinkedIns Top 25 Companies, where UK professionals want to work and stay once, they join.
