They collaborate closely with athenahealth business process owners, athenaIT Product and Project Managers, other Business Systems Analysts, and Development team members. As a member of the athenaIT team, their primary focus is on processes and technologies that support our business partners. They actively participate in the support and expansion of our technologies, continuous improvement, and growth, stability, and security of our systems.The successful candidate for this role will possess a wealth of experience, high energy, and keen attention to detail. They will be a highly analytical business analyst with a proven track record of transforming business requirements into system and process -solutions that drive our business forward and provide value to all employees of athenahealth. The following attributes are key indicators of a successful candidate for this position:Responsibilities <ul><li>Partner with Key Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders and product managers to analyze, understand, and enhance employee productivity and end-user effectiveness, with a strong focus on improving the overall customer experience.</li><li>Requirements Gathering: Gather, analyze, and document functional and technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues.</li><li>System Administration: Design, develop and maintain Salesforce CPQ system solutions involving complex product bundles, price rules, validation rules, approval rules, document templates, etc. in support of new requests and enhancements.</li><li>Business Acumen - Demonstrate strong business acumen and possess in-depth knowledge of the Salesforce CPQ domain.</li><li>Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including business requirements documents, functional specs, user manuals, and JIRA stories.</li><li>System Enhancements: Define and implement system enhancements that align with business goals, advising on best practices and recommending process improvements to ensure scalability and efficiency.</li><li>Solution Design: Work with technical teams to design solutions that meet business needs, including system specifications and workflows. Solutions consider both up and downstream impact. </li><li>Testing Plans: Develop test cases and conduct unit and integration testing to ensure that systems meet specified requirements and function correctly.</li><li>Training Materials: Develop, deliver, and present end-user training materials to Salesforce users throughout the organization.</li><li>Issue Resolution: Research production system issues, resolve user problems, and escalate issues when necessary.</li><li>Application Configuration: Perform application configuration activities primarily in Salesforce and other supporting Force.com applications.</li><li>Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and IT, facilitating communications and ensuring alignment on project goals. </li><li>Continuous Improvement – Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, recommending improvements to enhance business efficiency.</li></ul>Behaviors &amp; Abilities Required<ul><li>Detail oriented and organized professional who thrives in a high volume, multi-tiered environment.</li><li>Proven track record of following through on commitments and owning the outcome. </li><li>Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment while maintaining best practices and producing quality solutions. </li><li>Ability to assess situations or problems from multiple perspectives to understand the complete picture. </li><li>Ability to identify and influence alternative methods of solving problems and build efficiencies while doing so. </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with both technical and non-technical people. </li><li>Ability to work independently as well as part of a cross functional team with a variety of experience levels. </li><li>Enthusiastic team player and ability to maintain sense of humor in stressful situations. </li><li>Is comfortable interfacing with senior leadership in a variety of communication channels.</li></ul>Typical Qualifications <ul><li>Salesforce Certifications:<ul><li>Salesforce Administrator certification required.</li><li>Minimum 2 years Salesforce CPQ experience required, Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification preferred.</li></ul></li><li>Business Analysis Experience: 3-5 years of work experience as a business analyst, or related role.</li><li>System Administration Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce system administration, including user management, configuration, and maintenance of Salesforce environments, as well as prior experience working with related systems.
