You will assist customers with installations and support of their technology stack for private-cloud installations so they can get maximum value out of their Astronomer Investment.Hybrid Work Model: For this role, you will embrace a flexible hybrid work model, working at least 3 days per week at our Office in Hyderabad while delivering a seamless experience that is digitally and physically connected.What You Get To Do<ul><li>You will have responsibility for a small number of assigned accounts, maintaining a single-minded focus to ensure that some of our largest and most strategic customers are extracting the most value out of their Astronomer investment.</li></ul><ul><li>Work with Astronomer customers and support the Astronomer Managed Airflow Software installations on their on-premise environments</li><li>Identify, set up, and measure monitoring &amp; alerting metrics for Customer on-prem Astronomer Software infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and high availability.</li><li>Independently troubleshoot infrastructure issues related to Astronomer’s Kubernetes-based private-cloud offerings, including but not limited to Kubernetes, networking, database connectivity, and other critical services and solution components.</li><li>Drive major incidents, root cause analysis, change impact analysis &amp; implementation</li><li>Identify and develop automation using scripts for environment monitoring and health checks</li><li>Provide guidance/direction to the team for critical/complex infrastructure issues</li><li>Maintain and continuously improve your technical expertise. You would be knowledgeable about Airflow and Astronomers products. You stay up to date with the latest releases and features while focusing on those that have a greater impact on customers.</li><li>Act as a liaison by collecting feedback and identifying improvements through client interactions and relaying these recommendations back to the Product team</li></ul>What You Bring To The Role<ul><li>4+ years of hands-on Kubernetes experience.</li><li>6+ years of industry experience.</li><li>Experience with Python/Shell Scripting</li><li>Strong understanding of microservices/service-oriented architecture.</li><li>Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Linux/Unix Operating Systems</li><li>Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in setting up and debugging networking issues on the fly.</li><li>Hands-on experience with the Infrastructure as Code tools like Helm, terraform, etc</li><li>Working experience and advanced understanding of at least two Cloud Platform among AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.</li><li>Significant level of comfort interacting with assigned customers, over a variety of mediums (slack, email, pair programming sessions).</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Empathetic and lean towards giving those around them the benefit of the doubt</li><li>Eager to help customers solve problems and succeed in making Airflow the de-facto standard in data orchestration</li><li>Highly data-driven and intrigued by the challenge of delivering an awesome Astronomer experience to hundreds of customers</li></ul>Bonus points if you have:<ul><li>Experience in working with or in Apache Airflow in a production-level environment.</li><li>Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines</li><li>Experience working on short and long-term customer-engagements</li><li>Experience with related-market products such as Cloudera, Databricks, Snowflake, DBT, ETL Technologies, and analytics solutions</li></ul>#LI-Hybrid#LI-FulltimeAt Astronomer, we value diversity.
