The role needs you to innovate and be comfortable approaching problems with no known solutions. </div><div>   As a Senior Statistician you will work with a problem-solving attitude and a perceptive approach to: </div><div><ul><li>Deliver analytical solutions to address key biological questions using quantitative approaches </li><li>Influence the design of the experiments to deliver robust data.  </li><li>Identify and explore opportunities where statistics can add value  </li><li>Drive and influence best research and analysis practice through stakeholder management.  </li><li>Use your statistical toolkit to guide decision-making processes across the company </li><li>Contribute to and lead projects </li><li>Engage with external collaborators via publications and presentations </li></ul></div><div> </div><div>Essential in the role: </div><div><ul><li>We believe that your focus is set on solving challenging biological problems through partnerships. You are a specialist in your field, and you know that the best results are achieved by utilizing the strengths of every individual. </li></ul></div><div>  You should also have: </div><div><ul><li>Great interpersonal skills and be an agile communicator that can explain complex statistical methods to scientists with different levels of statistical knowledge. </li><li>Experience in data analysis and knowledge of some of the following areas: experimental design, assay development, linear/nonlinear models, Bayesian methods and other advanced statistical modelling. </li><li>Programming experience with tools such as R, Shiny, Julia, Stan or similar. </li><li>PhD or equivalent experience in statistics, mathematics, data science or similar. </li></ul></div></div><div><div>  To be successful in this role, you enjoy operating in a multi-disciplinary research environment.
