This position reports into the Global Franchise Head, Gyn/GU Cancers.In this pivotal role, you will shape commercial strategy and lead launch readiness for our radioconjugate portfolio in prostate cancer. You’ll collaborate closely with the Global Franchise Head, Gyn/GU Cancers, and partner with cross-functional teams spanning Medical, Market Access, Diagnostics, and regional markets to deliver on strategic business goals. Leading both the Global Product Team and the Integrated Business Team, you will oversee the planning and execution of commercialization efforts, ensuring teams are aligned and effective across regions.This leadership position is central to ensuring AstraZeneca brings cutting-edge radioconjugate therapies to prostate cancer patients worldwide.What Youll Do:<ul><li>Drive and execute global commercialization plans for PSMA-Radioconjugates in prostate cancer.</li><li>Partner with GPT, IBT, Medical, Market Access, Diagnostics, and regional teams to deliver launch and lifecycle objectives.</li><li>Champion commercial priorities in cross-functional teams, governance meetings, and external engagements.</li><li>Develop, implement, and evolve global brand strategies to ensure launch readiness and sustained growth.</li><li>Work with core country teams, with strong emphasis on the US, to align and deliver successful commercialization.</li><li>Build sustainable pricing and access models with internal and external partners for target indications.</li><li>Shape global and in-market commercialization capabilities and share best practices for prostate cancer radioconjugates.</li><li>Drive market-shaping initiatives, partnerships, and innovative approaches to patient care and value creation.</li><li>Manage and inspire the global marketing team, fostering collaboration and high performance.</li><li>Engage and influence senior internal and external stakeholders to accelerate business priorities.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelors degree in a relevant field, such as business or life sciences.</li><li>10+ years of experience in pharmaceutical development and commercialization.</li><li>Extensive expertise across drug development and commercialization for radioconjugate indications.</li><li>Proven experience and accountability for business success in the US healthcare market.</li><li>Extensive experience in global commercial strategy, launch readiness, long-term planning, and HTA validation.</li><li>Ability to work in ambiguous environments and influence without authority</li><li>Established proficiency in guiding complex and uncertain projects with agility, independence, and a strategic attitude.</li><li>Effective analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with proficiency in using insights to drive brand success.</li><li>Keen understanding of the strategic and operational considerations for in-market success and proven ability to negotiation trade-offs when there are competing priorities</li><li>Excellent collaboration and partner engagement skills, with the capacity to work across scientific and commercial teams.</li><li>Proven leadership in building effective teams and leading cross-functional, matrixed organizations.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>MBA, PhD, or advanced degree in a related field.</li><li>Sales or customer-facing experience.</li><li>Experience in both market and global commercial organizations.</li><li>Management experience leading diverse teams.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of global healthcare regulations, compliance, and pharmacovigilance.</li></ul>This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus (US Headquarters for Global Oncology Business Unit). Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, our positions offer a short-term incentive bonus opportunity; eligibility to participate in our equity-based long-term incentive program (salaried roles), to receive a retirement contribution (hourly roles), and commission payment eligibility (sales roles). Benefits offered included a qualified retirement program [401(k) plan]; paid vacation and holidays; paid leaves; and, health benefits including medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
