The Group is currently ranked third in the world for nuclear engineering.<br /> <br /> To ensure a viable, efficient, and reliable energy future for all.</p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><u><strong>Purpose of this Mission:</strong></u></p><p>The Service Manager instructs the provision of two document controllers to work within the established Document Control team, the outline responsibilities of these roles are listed below.</p><ul><li>Uploading and management of documents in line with best practice standards</li><li>Championing of document management processes and systems within the project environment</li><li>Review, management and uploading of documents held on sites for projects</li><li>Understanding and adhere to legal, contract and project document management requirements</li><li>Deal with enquiries efficiently and effectively</li><li>Carry out other project and non-project related activities as required</li><li>Assist in the production and supply of electronic and hard copy documents</li><li>Where appropriate promote training to operational team and suppliers in use of the electronic document management system (SharePoint and Autodesk Vault) and related IT systems.</li><li>Monitor compliance with contractual periods of reply and draft appropriate contractual communications via CEMAR,</li><li>Provide assurance to Project Manager by ensuring that all records are maintained.</li><li>Identify and implement areas for improvement and share best practice</li><li>Complete timesheets end of each week and ensure others do as well</li><li>Implement and contribute to processes/systems to meet commercial expectations.</li><li>Manage registers and Metrics including for file storage</li><li>Attend relevant meetings</li><li>Be proactive in their own professional development, learn new skills and broaden/deepen professional experience</li><li>Act in mutual trust and co-operation and uphold Client values</li><li>Liaise with established document control team in the wider Dockyard to ensure compliance with existing systems and processes.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><h3>Additional Information</h3><p><strong>Benefits include:</strong></p><ul><li>Pension scheme (8% company contribution / 4% personal contribution)</li><li>25 days’ paid annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy or sell days</li><li>Professional fees reimbursed</li><li>Flexible working</li><li>Employee referral scheme</li></ul><p>This role requires the successful candidate to hold a minimum of a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. </p><p>Ideally we would be looking for the successful candidate to be onsite once per week</p><p>Due to the nature of work this role will be delivering and for the protection of certain assets, the successful candidate has to be a UK national or in MoD approved cases a Dual National from a non-ITAR country. </p><div></div><p>We are committed to equal treatment of candidates and promote, as well as foster all forms of diversity within our company.
