<p><b>Position Summary:</b><br />ABS IT service desk engineer is the first point of contact for end-users seeking technical assistance. This role is responsible for diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.</p><h3></h3><h3><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></h3><ul><li>Respond to incoming service requests via ticketing system.</li><li>Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and other IT equipment.</li><li>Troubleshoot issues related to operating systems, applications, network connectivity, and user accounts.</li><li>Escalate unresolved issues to appropriate support teams while maintaining ownership of the ticket.</li><li>Document incidents, requests, and resolutions accurately in the ITSM system.</li><li>Assist with onboarding/offboarding tasks, including account setup and equipment provisioning.</li><li>Maintain knowledge base articles and contribute to continuous improvement of support processes.</li><li>Ensure compliance with IT policies, security standards, and service level agreements (SLAs).</li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Required Skills &amp; Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li>Strong customer service and communication skills.</li><li>Basic understanding of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft 365, and common enterprise applications.</li><li>Familiarity with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).</li><li>Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Team-oriented with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.</li></ul><p></p><h3><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></h3><ul><li>1–2 years of experience in a helpdesk or technical support role.
