About the Role

We are looking for an extremely energetic and enthusiastic Senior Marketing Manager to be an integral part of the Arctic Wolf Marketing team. Reporting to the APJ Marketing Director you will be responsible for driving the Japan marketing strategy and execution whilst working closely with our Japan sales teams, key Japanese channel partners and US-based corporate marketing teams to drive leads, opportunities, and pipeline growth.

This is a hands-on, collaborative role in a fast-moving environment where you will be responsible for helping to build on the momentum of the launch of Arctic Wolf in Japan.

Working closely with our Channel, PR and Corporate Marketing teams, you will also focus on creating awareness for the Arctic Wolf brand, collaborating closely with the partner network whilst creating and executing stand out marketing campaigns to generate opportunities and drive pipeline for Arctic Wolf.

In addition to managing the development of the Japanese website, you will also help to identify, evaluate, and optimise digital marketing channels, such as SEM, SEO and content syndication to drive awareness and lead generation.

As the ideal candidate, you will need to have a unique combination of strategic and tactical marketing management skills to establish yourself as the go-to marketing contact for both our partners and internal teams to ensure Japan is well represented. Importantly you will also articulate the specific needs for the Japan region to the global demand generation team, corporate communications, digital marketing, customer, and partner marketing teams to develop and execute relevant campaigns for the Japanese market.

This position requires an individual who is passionate about driving growth and new business opportunities, is data driven and who is willing to be very hands on and proactive. This position also involves close alignment, communication and collaboration with the Japanese sales teams and channel partners.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of marketing activities to support the growth of the Japanese market in alignment with sales and marketing objectives and targets.

  • Work very closely with Japanese channel partners and strategic alliance partners to enable them to drive effective demand generation marketing programs for Arctic Wolf.

  • Develop and precisely execute on quarterly, measurable marketing plans and budgets in line with key objectives. 

  • Work closely with the Corporate Marketing Teams where applicable to adapt, localise and execute on global marketing campaigns for the Japanese market

  • Coordinate and project manage all event and marketing activities as planned with the local channel and sales teams such as: trade shows, webinars, customer/end user or partners events).

  • Managing the ongoing development and production of the Japanese website

  • Measure and report back to the APJ Marketing Director and Japan Sales Leaders on the success of all marketing campaigns utilising tools such as sfdc and marketo.

  • Plan, create and execute integrated multi touch campaigns that are creative, innovative, and return the required level of ROI.

Who You Are

  • Extensive marketing experience working closely with channel partners such as distributors, resellers and strategic alliance partners.

  • Experience working closely with and building relationships with US Corporate Marketing Teams.

  • Experience working in small, agile, and fast-moving team environments

  • Experience of planning and delivering creative, demand generation campaigns 

  • Strong team player with a confident and engaging personality to build relationships with sales and marketing teams and channel partners.

  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation, project and budget management skills

  • Deep understanding of marketing/sales funnel and methods by which to increase opportunities and impact pipeline velocity.

  • Strong eye for detail and ability to get things done!

  • Knowledge of marketing automation tools (Marketo preferred) and Salesforce to build campaigns and track performance.

  • English proficiency, both written and verbal skills

  • Role is Tokyo-based

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10 years plus experience in B2B IT marketing (Cybersecurity an advantage)
