This role will focus on developing real-time control systems, building automation and power monitoring (, system integration, data analytics, and advanced reporting solutions for data centers and high-reliability infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SCADA software, PLC/DCS programming and integration, communication protocols, and power system analysis.</p> <p>The primary focus of this role is to provide technical design, PLC/DCS programming, SCADA application development and implementation, and go-live support before and during the implementation of customer projects.</p> <p><strong>Role accountabilities:</strong></p> <ul>  <li>Design and implement controls systems for mission-critical facilities, ensuring high reliability and performance.</li>  <li>Develop real-time monitoring and analytics solutions to track power usage, energy efficiency, and system reliability.</li>  <li>Configure and integrate EPMS with SCADA, Building Management Systems (BMS), and Electrical Infrastructure for seamless operation.</li>  <li>Program and troubleshoot SCADA software and hardware components, including power meters, gateways, and data acquisition devices.</li>  <li>Define network architecture for SCADA, BMS, EPMS, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity best practices.</li>  <li>Collaborate with mechanical engineers, electrical engineers, controls engineers, IT teams, and commissioning specialists to ensure SCADA and BMS/EPMS functionality aligns with project requirements.</li>  <li>Develop custom dashboards, alarms, and reporting tools to enhance operational visibility.</li>  <li>Manage vendor relationships and oversee system deployment, commissioning, and validation.</li>  <li>Provide technical support and training to end users on SCADA, BMS and EPMS operation and maintenance.</li>  <li>Stay current with emerging technologies in SCADA, building automation and power monitoring, IoT, and AI-driven analytics to enhance system capabilities.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualifications &amp; Experience:</strong></p> <ul>  <li>Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.</li>  <li>10+ years of experience in BMS/EPMS, IoT, SCADA and other intelligent building systems service or integration with at least 5 years in mission-critical environments (data centers, advanced manufacturing, etc.).</li>  <li>Strong ControlLogix and CompactLogix programming experience developing application from scratch for complex processes.</li>  <li>Design and programming experience with Siemens S7/PCS 7 and WinCC/TIA.</li>  <li>Design and programming experience with AVEVA System Platform, Historian (OSI PI), Batch, and InTouch.</li>  <li>Experience designing, configuring, programming, installing, troubleshooting or servicing HVAC Controls or Electrical SCADA systems application specific controllers, software and networks.</li>  <li>Experience in configuring, programming and troubleshooting Trend, Niagara N4, Distech, Schneider, Ignition</li>  <li>Expertise in BMS and EPMS software platforms (Inductive Automation, Schneider Electric Power Monitoring Expert, Eaton Foreseer, Siemens EPMS, etc.)</li>  <li>A champion of organization and details, who thrives on providing the highest quality of work.</li>  <li>Deadline driven, self-motivated, and with a high degree of technical curiosity and savvy. The base salary represents Arcadis’ hiring range for this position.
