With the power of many curious minds, together we can solve the world’s most complex challenges and deliver more impact together.Position Summary:The Senior I&amp;C Designer designs and develops layouts for Control systems for Building Automation Systems (BAS), Manufacturing Automation Systems (MAS), including but not limited to HVAC, Electrical, Manufacturing Tools, Water Treatment, Chemical Treatment, Life Safety, etc. Assists in the production of design documents.  This position requires advanced knowledge of I&amp;C equipment and local building codes. Independently contributes to complex aspects of a project.Essential Duties &amp; responsibilities:I&amp;C Designers have duties and responsibilities that focus on safety, sustainable design, and quality assurance. They design, develop control systems documents. I&amp;C Designers provide support for I&amp;C work in the manufacturing, and construction industries. Their duties and responsibilities include:<ul><li>Assures that drawings and designs are in accordance with company production and design standards.</li><li>Develop panel layout, control schematics, Loops, and wiring drawing </li><li>Develops &amp; provides Process and Instrumentations Drawings with the assistance of I&amp;C, Process &amp; Mechanical Engineering.</li><li>Conduct design calculations such as power supply sizing and cable sizing </li><li>Develop typical I&amp;C Installation Details</li><li>Develops and provides drawings for own designs and produces sketches to incorporate in drawings.</li><li>Writes scope of work for I&amp;C design based on preliminary review and meetings with the client.</li><li>Inspecting I&amp;C components before, during, and after the I&amp;C systems installation.</li><li>Maintains company drawings, templates, and standards current with applicable local codes.</li><li>Trains and mentors I&amp;C Designer I and II on multiple design approaches and methods.</li><li>Acts as a liaisonbetween I&amp;C department and other departments and disciplines including Process / HVAC / Piping / EHS / Automation / C&amp;Q / Procurement.</li><li>Interacts with and presents to contractors and clients.</li><li>Represents department and provides updates on I&amp;C work in company/project meetings.</li></ul>Qualifications: <ul><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
