We are looking for a candidate with strong organizational and team building skills, who feels comfortable with a dynamic workflow.  While this role can be based in any Arcadis office, preference will be given to candidates located in or willing to work from our Syracuse, NY, Novi, MI, Houston, TX, Portland, OR, Tampa, FL, or Seattle, WA offices, where you will benefit from a strong local support network and collaborative team environment.</span></p> </div> <div>  <p>As part of our Resilience Environment team, you’ll help improve quality of life.  You will work alongside Senior Scientists, Project/Program Managers, and Technical Experts on various activities in support of diverse environmental assessment and remediation projects. This opportunity is to support our growing emerging contaminant project portfolio and remediation capabilities. </p> </div> <div>  <p><b>Role accountabilities:</b> </p> </div> <div>  <p>The position will include, but is not limited to, activities such as: </p> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Working on projects focused on contaminated sediment and surface water remedial investigation, design, and construction </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Performing onsite/field activities, including sampling and oversight of contractors/subcontractors </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Operating software packages such as AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and Microsoft Office </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Data compilation, evaluation, and QA/QC </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Report writing and permit application preparation </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Cost estimating support </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Preparation and QA/QC of design/construction/contract drawings </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Preparation and QA/QC of design calculations </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <ul>   <li>Coordination with a variety of project managers, engineers/scientists, field crews, and support staff as part of project teams </li>  </ul> </div> <div>  <p>Candidates must have a strong attention to detail, adept organizational abilities, and a commitment to adhering to rigorous health and safety protocols.
