This is a high-impact role responsible for acquiring new customers and expanding relationships within existing Fortune 1000 accounts. Success will be achieved through solid territory and strategic account planning, prospecting to identify new and additional opportunities, and meeting and ideally exceeding sales quota. </span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>You’ll own the full sales cycle—from pipeline creation through contract signature—working with finance executives, procurement leaders, and strategic partners to drive adoption of AppZen’s solutions.</span></div><h3>Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Maintain a pipeline 4x of quota</li><li>Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting, discovery, to closing</li><li>Drive 6 to 12 month sales cycles with an average deal size of $150K+</li><li>Lead discovery and demo conversations with CFOs, Controllers, VPs of Finance, and Procurement leaders</li><li>Navigate complex buying groups and multiple stakeholders in global organizations</li><li>Present AppZen solutions to C-level executives and stakeholders</li><li>Co-sell with partners and resellers</li></ul><h3>Requirements:</h3><ul><li>5+ years of previous of Enterprise sales experience or similar role</li><li>Experience selling SaaS to C-level executives, preferably in finance</li><li>Proven track record of managing and selling into Fortune 1000 accounts</li><li>Proven experience meeting and exceeding sales quotas</li><li>Strong executive presence, communication, and consultative selling skills</li><li>Bachelor’s Degree</li></ul><h3>Physical Job Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Ability to travel to client sites and events, requiring extended sitting, standing, and walking</li><li>Proficiency in using equipment (e.g., laptops, phones) for long periods</li><li>Capability to sit for extended durations during meetings and computer work</li><li>Ability to stand and present for long periods at events or meetings</li><li>Strong hearing and verbal communication for in-person and virtual interactions</li><li>Visual acuity to read documents and presentation materials</li><li>Comfort working in various physical environments, including offices and event venues</li></ul><h3>Nice to Have:</h3><ul><li>Experience with AP Automation platforms, Expense Management, or Compliance Solutions</li><li>Familiarity with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) workflows and solutions (e.g., Coupa, Ariba, SAP, Oracle, etc.)</li><li>Background in AI, machine learning, or data-driven enterprise platforms is a plus</li></ul><h3>Benefits:</h3><ul><li>Opportunity to work with world-class leadership in a fast-growing, successful startup company</li><li>Competitive compensation package consisting of base salary and commissions-based target incentive</li><li>Great Benefits including Medical, Dental and Vision insurance, 401(k), FSA</li></ul><div><span>AppZen is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.</span></div><div><br /></div><div><span>The base pay range for this role is $120,000 to $150,000 and the variable compensation is 50% of the total on target earnings. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
