About the Role As an AppOmni Solutions Engineer, youll serve as a technical subject matter expert (SME), directly supporting Mid-Market sales efforts to meet quotas and contribute to AppOmnis rapid growth. Youll partner closely with sales teams, leveraging your expertise to lead customers to successful outcomes. You’ll also have the opportunity to work closely and collaborate with internal teams like Product Management, Product Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure seamless transitions from pre-sales to post-sales. What You’ll Do We expect the Solutions Engineer to be able to cover and own the following tasks during day-2-day engagements, and interactions with customers and internal AppOmni teams. <ul> <li>Provide technical expertise for AppOmni customer opportunities identified by the sales team.</li> <li>Present AppOmni to customers at all levels from technical engineering team members to C-level decision makers.</li> <li>Provide technical demos to customer prospects.</li> <li>Run, and own customer Risk Assessments and Proof-of-Value (POV) engagements.</li> <li>Lead technical conversations about SaaS security industry trends and emerging challenges.</li> <li>Interact locally and remotely with customers in an equally persuasive manner.</li> <li>Be the technical voice of Sales for all things related to SaaS security and compliance.</li> <li>Champion SaaS security best practices and innovations.</li> <li>Work with Product Management and Product Marketing to build requirements and product features based on feedback from customers.</li> <li>Work with the AppOmni Customer Success team to ensure a smooth customer transition from pre-sales to post-sales.</li> <li>Foster relationships with AppOmni-supported SaaS security partners and vendors.</li> <li>Provide technical AppOmni solution coverage for AppOmni marketing activities.</li> <li>Assist in the creation and maintenance of central AppOmni Demo systems and demo guides.</li> </ul> What We’re Looking For <ul> <li>3+ years of experience as a security Systems Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Systems Integrator.</li> <li>Working knowledge of common SaaS solutions, such as SFDC, O365, Zoom, Box, Slack, Okta, Github, ServiceNow, and Workday, both from a technology and a business driver standpoint.</li> <li>Self-driven and self-motivated individual who enjoys a fast-moving and constantly changing environment.</li> <li>Startup experience is a plus.</li> <li>Demonstrable experience in securing SaaS/cloud environments.</li> <li>Deep understanding of API-based security &amp; compliance standards.</li> <li>Hands-on experience working with customers, positioning, demonstrating, and configuring security products during risk assessment or POV engagements.</li> <li>Strong communication and presentation skills.</li> <li>Strong technical qualification and closing skills.</li> <li>Experience from companies in the enterprise security space, and experience working with and closing enterprise transactions.</li> <li>Strong problem finding and solving skills, ability to analyze complex problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution.</li> <li>Experience understanding exploits, malware, ransomware and their creation and activation, etc.</li> <li>Technical acumen with a broad technical security and infrastructure background.</li> <li>Programming and DevOps experience will be an added advantage</li> <li>Experience with working with Channel partners, and understanding a channel-centric go-to-market approach</li> </ul> Culture Our flexible, remote-first team is collaborative and supportive as we move quickly to research and develop new ideas, deliver new features to our customers, and iterate on ideas and innovations. Our total rewards package includes the following: <ul> <li>Base Salary: The annual base salary compensation range in the U.S. for this role is: $130,000 - $200,000 USD.
