It is designed to attract, assimilate, grow, and retain the most talented engineers entering the industry today. During the first two years of employment, Fusion members go through a series of rotational work assignments. The rotations typically consist of two or three unique engineering assignments. These rotations help program members and managers determine where they will flourish in their full-time position at Applied Materials. Program will start in summer 2026, on-site at our Gloucester, MA location.Applied Materials’ Control Systems Software Department is searching for a New College Graduate to join our team! Our department develops the software for the control system of semiconductor process equipment. This includes developing interfaces for advanced sensors, designing the data and control flow, creating algorithms for the optimal material engineering on an atomic scale and the real-time control of devices such as robots, motors, generators, pumps and flow controllers. Other aspects of our work include the design of the user interface, data collection, storage and analysis, machine learning and analytics, remote access and security. Key responsibilities include: <ul><li>Designs, prototypes and develops moderately difficult software solutions for semiconductor equipment components and devices </li><li>Designs common software modules and libraries for use across multiple products </li><li>Troubleshoots a variety of moderately difficult software problems.
