Uses best practices and knowledge of internal or external business issues to improve products or services. Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions. The role may require the individual to present to senior management and will be directly accountable for invoicing accuracy. Works independently, receives minimal guidance. Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.Major Responsibilities<ul><li>Application of ASC606 and Finance Policy requirements to diverse sales agreements; including review for policy compliance prior to invoicing and revenue recognition.</li><li>Trace and analyze system interfaces and assist with problem solving and root cause.</li><li>Support accounting close, including reconciliations involving multiple data systems.</li><li>Review and research transactions.</li><li>Provide support in completing SOX 404 &amp; external audit requirements for Global Invoicing group and key internal customers.</li><li>Ability to support the financial close schedule requirements.</li></ul>Key Competencies<ul><li>Strong communication of policy requirements to internal customers and follow through for compliance issues.</li><li>Able to work with Corporate Policy to address Q&amp;A and other issues that may arise.</li><li>Helps others to make decisions based on consistent application of policy and statutory requirements.</li><li>Has a strong understanding of the key upstream and downstream process elements that flow through their area and can identify key cause and effect points within the full end-to-end function.</li><li>Able to deliver multiple conflicting priorities</li><li>Ability to recognize escalation points to facilitate timely revenue recognition.</li><li>Recommend and participate in improvements to the financial processes.</li><li>Strong understanding of accounting transactions.</li></ul>Education and Experience<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with a major in accounting or finance.</li><li>4-7 years of experience in accounting or finance.</li><li>Experience in Business Intelligence and implement new data analysis methodologies preferred.</li><li>Prior experience in an operational ERP environment (SAP, Hyperion &amp; BPC) is a plus.</li><li>Ability to understand and find appropriate applications for data and analysis results.</li></ul><ul><li>Strong attention to details and solid organizational skills.</li><li>Must be motivated to work within a team in a supportive environment</li></ul>Additional InformationTime Type:Full timeEmployee Type:Assignee / RegularTravel:NoRelocation Eligible:NoThe salary offered to a selected candidate will be based on multiple factors including location, hire grade, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and with consideration of internal equity of our current team members.
