(Note: For EpiSci job openings, fully remote work will be considered by exception.)</em></p></div><h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2> <div> <p>We are looking for bright test frameworks engineers interested in ensuring the success of cutting edge solutions to difficult problems in the autonomy space. This is a hands-on role in which you will design and implement comprehensive testing frameworks, improving the productivity of our development/QA teams and bringing standardization and automation to our processes and practices.</p> Our test frameworks engineers work across our suite of products, tackling difficult full-stack, infrastructure, robotics, and graphics problems as the last line of defense. At Applied Intuition, we encourage all engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, interact closely with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture.</div> <h2><strong>At Applied Intuition, you will:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Create test scripts to automate the testing process and streamline overall design and performance verification testing</li> <li>Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, engineering managers and customers to build detailed test programs for our products that push the frontier of AV software development </li> <li>Conduct and analyze test results and be responsible for critical performance of feature releases and updates </li> <li>Prioritize execution of test plans and procedures, and identify performance margins </li> <li>Own the sign-off of test results, analysis, and reports for ongoing improvements of testing requirements</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Were looking for someone who has:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>A Bachelors in Computer Science, Software, Electrical, Physics, Mathematics, or similar engineering field</li> <li>6+ years of software testing experience with complex software systems</li> <li>Background with UI Testing, API Integration Testing, Load Testing</li> <li>Good communication, organizational skills, and proactiveness</li> <li>High level of professionalism to nurture an ego-free culture</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Prior experience with either AV simulation or vehicle simulation</li> <li>Hands-on experience testing, troubleshooting, or debugging complex software systems</li> <li>Testing experience in Gaming Industry, Unreal engine is a plus</li> </ul> <p>Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off.
