(Note: For EpiSci job openings, fully remote work will be considered by exception.)</em></p></div><h2><strong>About the role</strong></h2> <p>We are a rapidly scaling, late-stage startup delivering advanced software platforms and AI-powered toolchains for the development, testing, validation, and deployment of ADAS (Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems) and autonomous vehicle systems. As Senior Manager, Technical Revenue Accounting within the Accounting team, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and optimizing the revenue infrastructure to support complex, multi-year software platform deals as we prepare for IPO. This is a strategic, hands-on position requiring expertise in revenue operations for sophisticated software licensing, ASC 606 revenue recognition, technical accounting memos, and deal desk leadership. You will collaborate across sales, finance, and customer success to ensure scalable processes, accurate reporting, and public company readiness.</p> <h2>At Applied Intuition, you will:</h2> <ul> <li>Build, refine, and scale processes for deal structuring, order-to-cash, billing, and revenue recognition for complex, multi-year, and bundled software platform contracts (including any services delivered as part of the software arrangement)</li> <li>Ensure compliance with ASC 606 revenue recognition guidance, including contract review, identification and allocation of performance obligations, and documentation for bundled software and services offerings</li> <li>Establish a process and cadence for determining SSP for existing and new products</li> <li>Prepare and review technical accounting memos to document revenue recognition positions, complex transactions, and support audit and IPO readiness</li> <li>Partner  with sales, finance, and legal to review, structure, and approve complex bundled deals, ensuring alignment with company strategy, pricing, and compliance</li> <li>Prepare required revenue disclosures for annual and quarterly financial statements</li> <li>Support monthly close, revenue forecasting, and audit readiness activities within the Accounting organization</li> <li>Support the creation and enforcement of a reporting calendar and operational cadence for revenue-related activities</li> <li>Oversee interdepartmental collaboration to address process gaps, improve customer experience, and drive revenue predictability</li> <li>Play a key role in IPO readiness, including supporting SOX controls, process documentation, and public company reporting standards</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Were looking for someone who has:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; advanced degree a plus</li> <li>7+ years of progressive experience in revenue operations, sales operations, or related roles, with a focus on software businesses</li> <li>Deep understanding of ASC 606 and experience with complex, multi-year software platform contracts and revenue recognition</li> <li>Demonstrated experience preparing technical accounting memos for revenue recognition and other complex transactions</li> <li>Experience leading or working closely with a deal desk, including deal review, approval workflows, and cross-functional collaboration</li> <li>Experience building and scaling processes in a high-growth, pre-IPO environment</li> <li>Strong proficiency with CRM and revenue systems (for example, Salesforce, NetSuite, billing platforms)</li> <li>Excellent analytical, process improvement, and project management skills</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to align cross-functional teams and drive operational excellence</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>IPO experience and prior work in a software or technology company highly preferred</li> </ul> <p>Compensation at Applied Intuition for eligible roles includes base salary, equity, and benefits. Base salary is a single component of the total compensation package, which may also include equity in the form of options and/or restricted stock units, comprehensive health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance coverage, 401k retirement benefits with employer match, learning and wellness stipends, and paid time off. Note that benefits are subject to change and may vary based on jurisdiction of employment.</p> <p>Applied Intuition pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum intended target base salary for new hire salaries for the position. The actual base salary offered to a successful candidate will additionally be influenced by a variety of factors including experience, credentials &amp; certifications, educational attainment, skill level requirements, interview performance, and the level and scope of the position.</p> <p>Please reference the job posting’s subtitle for where this position will be located.
