The Partner team at Appian is a fast-paced, dynamic organization that plays an integral role in driving Appians growth globally. We are looking for an experienced Partner Sales Director to promote work within Appians internal sales team and forge relationships with our Global Systems Integrators (GSIs)  to achieve aggressive growth and revenue goals. This individual will make a noticeable impact on Appian by managing high profile relationships and helping our GSI’s build solutions and go to market motions that improve their ability to serve their customers. In this role, you will: <ul> <li> Manage relationship with Strategic GSI’s in the Commercial Space  </li> <li> Drive business development opportunities for direct sales through Partner relationships Oversee the creation and maintenance of Appian delivery practices within Strategic partners </li> <li> Connect Appian sales teams with partner leads to jointly develop customer opportunities </li> <li> Oversee the creation, development, and go to market for partner solutions </li> <li> Educate the Partner organizations on the benefit of Appian’s software </li> <li> Oversee and Manage relationships with smaller partner organizations  </li> </ul>   Qualifications: <ul> <li> Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or Business </li> <li> 5+ years previous partner/channel enterprise software sales experience relevant experience in a services firm  </li> <li> Demonstrated success in working with service providers in business development and the construction of services &amp; practices around specific software products </li> <li> Working knowledge of business process automation with a history of qualifying client solution areas and orchestrating multi departmental solution sales </li> <li> Working knowledge of solution selling methodology and practice </li> <li> Excellent written / verbal communication and presentation skills </li> <li> Confident, competitive, thorough, and tenacious attitude </li> <li> Able to work independently, but within a team environment </li> <li> Ability to travel within assigned region </li> <li> Preferred experience: Past partnership with Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PWC) </li> </ul>  <div>Tools and Resources  <ul> <li>Training and Development: During onboarding, we focus on equipping new hires with the skills and knowledge for success through department-specific training.
