You’ll be the connective, conversational tissue between our brand and the people who use or are about to use Apollo. From TikTok threads to Reddit subs, you’ll spark conversations, spot insights, and turn casual fans into active champions. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows how to show up online with authenticity, spot the signals in the noise, and grow brand presence through real-time engagement and relationship-building. You’ll collaborate closely with content, product marketing, and customer teams to feed insights back into the business and turn community love into strategic fuel. What You’ll Do <ul> <li>Lead community engagement across owned and external platforms to expand brand awareness, foster meaningful connection with prospects and users, and translate conversations into actionable insights.</li> <li>Build community on owned channels (TikTok, Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube) by responding in real time, starting conversations, and identifying emerging influencers and advocates.</li> <li>Manage and grow Apollo’s presence on Reddit, including strategy, moderation, and fostering a strong advocate community.</li> <li>Represent Apollo in external communities (e.g., Women in Sales, Modern Sales Pros), participating in discussions that align with our GTM mission and spark consideration.</li> <li>Spot UGC, product feedback, and thought-provoking conversations that highlight our value and share feedback to relevant teams internally.</li> <li>Partner with internal stakeholders (like Product, Sales, and Customer Success) to loop in relevant experts when authentic engagement is needed.</li> <li>Host lightweight community-driven experiences like AMAs, Q&amp;As, and beta sneak peeks—and reward meaningful engagement with recognition or access.</li> <li>Track and report on trends, sentiment, and engagement—including branded/unbranded mentions, Reddit CQS, and search/social traffic driven by community activity.</li> <li>Help shape the evolving strategy for Apollo-hosted spaces (e.g., Slack or future platforms) to deepen user connection and feedback loops.</li> </ul> What We’re Looking For <ul> <li>5-7 years of experience in community, social, or influencer roles—preferably in a fast-paced SaaS or startup environment. </li> <li>Deep familiarity with social platforms, especially Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, and X. </li> <li>A strong POV on what community means in 2025—and how brands can show up in a way that builds trust and value. </li> <li>Excellent written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone across channels and audiences. </li> <li>Scrappy, creative, and confident navigating both planned campaigns and spontaneous interactions. </li> <li>A pulse on internet culture and GTM trends—bonus points if youre already active in sales and marketing forums or groups. </li> <li>Experience in a previous sales role (SDR, AE, or AM) is a major plus—you’ll bring empathy, credibility, and real insight into the challenges our audience faces every day. </li> <li>Comfort with tools like Sprout, Notion, Figma, or Airtable—and curiosity to explore what else might help scale your impact. </li> <li>You love talking to users, asking questions, and translating conversations into insight. </li> </ul><div><h3>We are AI Native</h3> Apollo.io is an AI-native company built on a culture of continuous improvement.
