As a valued member of the Total Rewards team, youll play a crucial role in designing and delivering global benefits while taking the lead on managing U.S. health program administration. The anticipated hourly rate ranges from $50 to $70, depending on experience.  As a Global Benefits Specialist (Contract), you will:  <ul> <li>Engage in day-to-day administration, research, planning, and development of U.S. health and global benefit programs.</li> <li>Oversee 401(k) administration and annual 5500 audit, ensuring compliance with federal and state statutes such as ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA, and SFHCO, as well as regional guidelines.</li> <li>Streamline global processes for absence management, global time off, wellbeing, and family forming programs.</li> <li>Foster strong relationships with Global teams in the Americas, EMEA, and APAC for consultative advice and policy interpretation.</li> <li>Partner with local Managers, People Business Partners, Payroll, and Legal teams to administer benefit programs effectively.</li> <li>Monitor new and emerging benefits legislation, ensuring global compliance and applying solid judgment to benefits governance.</li> <li>Analyze new and changed global/local laws for compliance and perform ad-hoc reviews to ensure best practices.</li> <li>Provide data analytics on the value, utilization, and costs of offered programs for leadership visibility.</li> <li>Collaborate closely with U.S. and Global Consultant/Brokers on benefits design, roadmap, strategies, and cost implications, including annual renewals and RFPs.</li> <li>Proactively manage vendor relationships, challenging the status quo to ensure performance and quality expectations are met.</li> <li>Serve as an internal consultant and benefits subject matter expert to People &amp; Workplace Resources partners.</li> <li>Coordinate with team members and external partners on benefit communications, ensuring clarity and accessibility.</li> <li>Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, building strong business relationships.</li> </ul> Youll be a great addition to the team if you have: <ul> <li>Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experience.</li> <li>Minimum of 5 years in U.S. employee Benefits, with 2+ years of progressive Global Benefits experience.</li> <li>Global leaves experience preferred; knowledge of U.S. leave laws and benefits practices required.</li> <li>Ability to think globally, strategically, and objectively to translate data into actionable insights and strategies.</li> <li>Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple assignments successfully in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Solutions-oriented mindset, fostering collaboration with various teams.</li> <li>Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.</li> <li>Intermediate level Excel, PowerPoint, and HRIS experience; Workday experience is a plus.</li> <li>Ability to confidentially manage highly sensitive information with discretion.</li> <li>Effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels of management.</li> </ul> We value diversity and inclusion and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
