The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of complex projects through various phases in the product lifecycle, encompassing prototyping, content development and revisions, art and design, production, and copyediting.Ideal applicants will have extensive experience using a variety of techniques to lead large-scale projects toward successful completion. You are excited to support a variety of project needs, jumping into new initiatives and ramping up quickly.*This is a Fixed-Term role with an expected end date of 8/31/26.Essential Responsibilities:<ul><li>Develop and oversee project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring compliance with project goals and business objectives and delivering within timeline and budget constraints.</li><li>Proactively identify and mitigate potential project risks and challenges, implementing effective solutions to keep projects on track and escalating issues when necessary to senior management.</li><li>Organize and lead meetings with cross-functional teams on action items, day-to-day task management, and prioritization of resources with clear outlines of next steps and ownership.</li><li>Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and workflows, seeking opportunities to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.</li><li>Oversee project budgets, manage and track invoices for third-party vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payments.</li><li>Optimize resource allocation across projects, ensuring efficient utilization of team members skills and expertise.</li><li>Cultivate a positive and collaborative team environment, fostering open communication and mutual respect.</li></ul>  Required Qualifications:<ul><li>8+ years in a project management role managing complex, large-scale projects with a bachelor’s degree; or 6+ years with a master’s degree; or 3+ years with a PhD or equivalent combination of education and work experience.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to identify and mitigate risks, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions under pressure.</li><li>Proven ability to communicate complex information clearly and succinctly to stakeholders and leadership executives in large forums.</li><li>Deep understanding of project management methodologies with practical experience in implementing and adapting them to diverse project needs.</li><li>Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams, build strong relationships, and effectively navigate challenging situations.</li><li>Proficiency in Google suite and project management tools such as Smartsheet, Workfront, and JIRA.</li><li>Experience managing a network of third party vendors, writing SOWs and invoice tracking.</li><li>An understanding of print and digital production along with the constraints and requirements of various file formats.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Experience and interest in working in education technology and curriculum development.</li><li>Experience with complex Google sheets to track budgets and projects.</li><li>PMP, CSM, CAPM, or comparable project management certification are highly preferred.</li><li>Spanish language proficiency. </li></ul>What we offer: Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs.
