The Renewals Manager plays a critical role in leading and developing a team of retention professionals focused on renewals management in a specific territory. The role involves coaching the team through challenges, 

achieving financial and operational goals, and ensuring a culture of continuous improvement. The Renewals Manager is responsible for driving best practices, optimizing processes, and leveraging data insights to enhance 

results. They collaborate with cross-functional teams and work closely with Account Executives and sales leaders to align with territory plans.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement in performance, process efficiency, automation, and data accuracy within the Renewals Team.

  • Manage and coach the team to handle renewals efficiently and effectively, guiding them through challenges and helping them achieve financial and operational objectives.

  • Drive renewal best practices across the organization, aiding in the development of training programs for the field team.

  • Extract insights from renewal data and recommend strategies and tactics to improve renewal results.

  • Work closely with Account Executives and sales leaders on territory plans to ensure alignment and efficient renewals processes.

  • Identify automation and process improvement opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive these initiatives.

  • Build Salesforce reporting and dashboards that provide actionable insights to enable a performance management culture.

  • Additional travel may exist for additional professional development opportunities, which will be presented as appropriate, but not required.

  • Ability to travel 10% of the time, for training and national sales meetings.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in a fast-paced corporate environment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent Google Suite applications.

  • 3+ years of experience in renewals, customer service, or sales, with a successful track record of meeting targets.

  • Experience using Amplify’s products

  • Proficiency with Google Suite

  • 2+ years managing in sales or account management, or the equivalent

  • Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets with an understanding of pivot tables and vlookups.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in the K-12 educational space.

  • Experience working in an Educational Technology company.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on relationship building.

  • Detail-oriented

  • Experience coaching, managing, and promoting high performance within the team.

  • Desire to continuously seek ways to improve and optimize processes.

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $80,000.00 - $90,000.00. This role is eligible for commission-based pay and eligible to earn an annual discretionary bonus that rewards individual and company performance.
