This position ensures compliance with federal and state regulations while providing support and guidance to employees on leave. In this role, you will be required to exercise discretion, independent judgment and possess knowledge of related laws, regulations, policies, rules and procedures.Essential Responsibilities:<ul><li>Administer employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, and retirement plans.</li><li>Coordinate the benefits enrollment process during open enrollment, life events, and for new hires.</li><li>Evaluate leave requests and recommend appropriate action, and serve as the primary point of contact for employees on leave, maintaining open communication and providing guidance throughout the leave process.</li><li>Administer leave of absence programs, including multi-state specific disability and family/parental leave programs, company-specific disability and leave programs, FMLA, ADA, LTD and Workers’ Compensation. </li><li>Track and manage leave requests and balances, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reporting.</li><li>Assist employees with benefit and leave inquiries, providing information and guidance on available resources and options, while demonstrating proactive decision-making and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Prepare and distribute communication materials related to benefits and leave updates.</li><li>Ensure all benefits and leave policies are compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.</li><li>Stay informed about legislative changes that may impact benefits and leave policies.</li><li>Manage the benefit vendor billing and reconciliation process.</li><li>Maintain and update employee benefits and leave records in HRIS systems.</li></ul>Required Qualifications:<ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.</li><li>2+ years of experience in benefits administration or multi-state leave management administration.</li><li>Knowledge of benefits laws and regulations.</li><li>Proficiency in HRIS and benefits management software.</li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li><li>Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications:<ul><li>Proficiency with state-specific leave laws and administration (e.g., California Paid Family Leave, New Jersey Family Leave Insurance, Colorado Family and Medical Leave Insurance, etc.).</li></ul>What we offer:Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
