Let’s talk.</p> <h3><strong>The Role</strong></h3> <p>Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Helpdesk Engineer is based in our Seattle, WA office and will be an important part of ensuring that Amperity employees have the support needed in the day-to-day use of technology around the office. To cover these in-office needs, this role requires five days per week on-site. You will answer questions and resolve office and technical issues through an IT ticketing system with enthusiasm. You will assist with computer hardware and software, including printing, installation, office products, and electronic messaging, AV room troubleshooting and maintenance, and AV conference support. The individual will effectively multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced setting. Strong background in troubleshooting and customer service, as well as excellent communication skills, are necessary.</p> <h3><strong>Interesting Problems</strong></h3> <ul> <li>IT Support Tickets, including hardware, software, audio, and video issues</li> <li>New employee onboarding &amp; hardware assistance</li> <li>Computer provisioning and re-provisioning</li> <li>Management of computers using MDM software (ABM and Addigy or similar, ie, Jamf, Kandji, Workspace One)</li> <li>Administration of IAM and SaaS tools (Okta, Slack, G-Suite, Zoom, Atlassian Suite, etc.)</li> <li>White glove support for executives and C Suite</li> <li>AV meeting support and delivery</li> <li>Support conference-room tools and devices (TV and communication devices)</li> <li>Management of IT supplies and new orders</li> <li>Troubleshooting and configuration of printers and scanners</li> <li>Support of Meraki networks, including troubleshooting and issue escalation</li> <li>Equipment procurement and hardware inventory tracking</li> <li>Creation of internal and user-facing documentation</li> </ul> <h3><strong>About You</strong></h3> <ul> <li>Minimum of 2 years working in the IT field</li> <li>Managed macOS using MDM and participated in effective hardware inventory tracking.</li> <li>Experience with supporting Okta and other SaaS tools (such as G Suite, Zoom, Atlassian, etc..</li> <li>Comfortable delivering white glove executive support and coordinating with C-Suite team members and executive assistants to deliver on requests.</li> <li>Delivered technical and AV support for global meetings, ensuring reliable connectivity and presentation quality for all attendees.</li> <li>Directed all aspects of AV/IT hardware support, from initial user-reported issues to advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for conference room and presentation systems.</li> <li>Excitement and passion for serving users and meeting their needs</li> <li>Enthusiastic about cultivating an exciting in-office atmosphere</li> <li>A wide breadth of technical knowledge, with an eagerness to learn and use new technologies</li> <li>Comfortable meeting priorities and SLAs</li> <li>Passionate and committed to automation and removing friction</li> <li>A creative, versatile approach to solving problems with technology - the variety of problems you face will rarely have a well-defined, obvious solution</li> </ul> <h3><strong>Location</strong></h3> <p><strong>Seattle, WA </strong></p> <p>This is an in-office role that requires 5 days per week in the Seattle Headquarters.</p> <h3><strong>Compensation</strong></h3> <p><strong>Base Salary:  $66,000-$90,000. </strong>Within our pay range, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications such as skills, experience, and education/training. </p> <p><strong>Cash Incentives: </strong>Cash incentives are also available.</p> <p><strong>Stock Options:  </strong>The opportunity for ownership is an exciting part of Amperity’s total compensation package.
