Are you ready to do meaningful work that matters?LIVE What you will do As a Senior Manager Security Monitoring Services you will lead Amgen’s Security Monitoring Services program with a focus on SIEM engineering and Operational Technology (OT) security. The position is responsible for shaping and enhancing Amgen’s capabilities in security log management, analytics, AI-driven security practices, and OT threat protection. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Incident Response, Threat Intelligence, and Attack Surface Reduction, to proactively strengthen Amgen’s detection and response ecosystem.The ideal candidate is an experienced cybersecurity leader with deep expertise in monitoring technologies and the ability to influence outcomes through strategic partnerships and effective leadership.Let’s do this. In this vital role you will:<ul><li>Lead and develop Amgen’s SIEM engineering and OT Security services.</li><li>Drive strategies for security log management, analytics, and operational technology defense.</li><li>Foster innovation by incorporating AI for Security and developing Security for AI use cases.</li><li>Develop and maintain a high-performance team through coaching, technical training, and mentorship.</li><li>Ensure strong adherence to documentation standards, including SOPs, guides, and knowledge base articles.</li><li>Partner with Security Metrics &amp; Analytics to produce actionable insights for senior leadership.</li><li>Collaborate closely with 24x7 Global Security Operations, Cyber Threat Intelligence, Incident Response, and Attack Surface Reduction teams.</li><li>Continuously optimize costs and drive operational efficiencies.</li></ul>WIN What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. The tech professional we seek is a creative problem-solver and a team player with these qualifications:May require after-hours responsibilities and occasional travel.<ul><li>Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or a related field.</li><li>Minimum of 2 years of managerial experience directly managing people or leading teams, programs, or resource allocation.
