These strategies and tools directly impact business profitability through improved credit performance and collections results. The team is also responsible for ensuring on-going monitoring and improvement of credit and collection processes and policies.Key Responsibilities:You will work in a team responsible for developing and deploying new credit actions for accounts in delinquency and credit collection process, financial relief program (FRP) or managing critical processes like settlement tools and strategy, customer crisis recovery (CCR). You will also be responsible for ensuring on-going monitoring and improvement of credit and collections processes and policies.<ul><li>Manage the Financial Relief Program to maximize the collection benefit across global commercial portfolios</li><li>Develop efficient and differentiated contact strategy, embracing ‘digital first’ mindset</li><li>Monitor key matrices cancellation, write offs, spin down rates and recoveries and provide analytical insights to explain trends</li><li>Provide independent decisions by combining data-driven facts and intuition on case-by-case basis for special collections scenarios</li><li>Understand Competitive and macro-economic landscape and proactively identify opportunities in AXP portfolios</li><li>Enhance Term loans strategies through deep understanding of merchant needs, payment behavior and portfolio analytics</li><li>Partner closely with cross-functional teams (e.g. GSG Strategy, Operation, Compliance, and Legal) to implement risk strategies and ensure best-in-class customer services</li><li>Build the next generation customer management capabilities that can integrate the card and non-card portfolios to drive synergy and efficiency</li><li>Creative thought leadership, bold ambition and a strong will to win.</li></ul>Minimum Qualifications<ul><li>4+ Years of Relevant/Related Work Experience with Consistent Track Record of Strong Performance</li><li>Strong analytical discipline, solution-oriented mindset, and focus on outcomes</li><li>Problem-solving, and advanced analytical skills</li><li>Self-starter, results-driven, intellectually-curious personality</li><li>Strong project management skills to manage multiple projects/tasks effectively</li><li>Excellent, effective written and oral communication</li><li>Expert with SQL, Python, R, Excel pivots</li><li>Bachelors degree required</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Advanced degree is preferred but not required given a suitable combination of formal education and work experience</li><li>Prior experience in collections or customer management is preferred</li><li>Strong working knowledge of American Express risk systems (CSP, WCC, RDE, RFP, Triumph etc.), processes and data sources </li></ul> Salary Range: $90,000.00 to $165,000.00 annually + bonus + benefitsThe above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
