The candidate should have experience in commercial credit risk management, data &amp; analytics, risk appetite limit setting, portfolio monitoring and relevant regulatory regulations, and guidance.Key Responsibilities:<ul><li>Conduct independent review of wholesale rating and underwriting decisions and provide credible challenge to first line teams.  Assess adherence to credit policies and procedures and bank regulations. </li><li>Conduct quantitative analysis on risk management data to drive insights and recommendations for first-line teams.</li><li>Collaborate with Business Unit Risk teams to enhance decision processes or address major credit issues. </li><li>Identify credit risk metrics (e.g. KRIs and KPIs) to continuously monitor and oversee risk. </li><li>Develop requirements to support the next generation risk capabilities  </li><li>Produce credit risk dashboards for AXP Risk Committees including tracking risk appetite metrics. </li><li>Analyze trends in the charge and lending portfolios and conduct deep dive analysis to understand key drivers. </li></ul>Qualifications:<ul><li>5+ years of Banking or Credit risk management experience and strong experience related to Commercial credit extension and management. </li><li>Familiarity with banking regulations, particularly those imposed by OCC and Federal Reserve.  </li><li>Knowledge of macroeconomic trends and its impact on borrower repayment. </li><li>Ability to clearly communicate oversight findings to credit risk peers, business partners, and senior leaders. </li><li>Demonstrates the courage to challenge the status quo. </li><li>Project management skills, ability to deliver high quality results while meeting deadlines, department and personal goals. </li><li>Ability to clearly communicate oversight findings to credit risk peers, business partners, and senior leaders. </li><li>Experience with data-driven analytical tools is helpful (e.g. SQL, SAS, R, Python) </li><li>Bachelor’s degree with high GPA and a degree (or substantial coursework) in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business.  Guardian</li></ul> Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $155,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition.
