As part of the Enterprise Digital & Data Solutions group (EDDS), the Enterprise Acquisition Products and Platforms team (EAPP) is constantly evolving how we serve and meet the needs of our customers. Digital acquisition is one of Amex’s top priorities. Core to delivering on this priority are card, loan, banking, and payment application and onboarding experiences that enable a positive and engaging experience for customers to apply for our products. In addition to an enormous emphasis on users and usability, our team is responsible for growing new accounts acquired and accounts receivable, by increasing application completions and approvals.


Focus:

You will work with the Senior Manager of Product Quality Operations to ensure mitigation of operational risk and improve quality across the enterprise by enhancing processes and driving effective project coordination.  Leverage industry tools and data to promote sound business practices and support delivery of 3rd Line of Defense activities throughout the customer acquisition lifecycle.  Collaborate with Product, Technology, and Control Management teams to contribute to audit management efforts by ensuring timely delivery of key initiatives.  Track and monitor multiple operational risk workstreams, supporting planning, execution, and performance against quality benchmarks.    

Organizational Context:

Responsible for supporting the overall quality oversight of Audit, Compliance, and Issue Management deliverables across Enterprise Acquisition Product and Platforms ecosystem.

·       Acts as a liaison for Audit and Compliance findings between several interested parties, product, technology, business, and regulators.

·       Great coordinative and team leadership skills.

·       Has a passion for solving problems, risk mitigation, prevention and getting to the bottom of technical problems. 

·       Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate issues with both technical and non-technical audiences. 

·       Develop detailed project plans to manage the end-to-end project activities, interdependencies, and execution approach.  

·       Identifies and tracks key project achievements.

·       Using appropriate tools and resources (i.e., Rally, Jira, Confluence, Archer) in engaging with cross-functional teams.

·       Build credibility, establish rapport, and maintain communication with stakeholders at multiple levels.

Minimum Qualifications:


Education & Experience

·       Bachelors degree preferred

·       Prior technical and business work experience with a broad range of exposure to various technical environments and business segments, including working with regulatory and compliance requirements

Salary Range: $60,000.00 to $110,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
