The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
We are currently seeking a Manager, Partner Management to join our partner management team based in our New York, New York office.
JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Partner Management is a key member of the distribution team focused on growing AMCN subscription & streaming services (such as AMC+), supporting linear network and FAST Channel performance, and expanding content distribution opportunities through Digital, vMVPD and MVPD partnerships. The Distribution team is part of the larger AMCN Commercial Revenue organization.
Our ideal candidate is a strong cross-functional communicator, who will build collaborative partnerships internally and externally to execute successful partner campaigns that drive revenue and subscriber growth. This team member will support a variety of accounts including Amazon, Roku, DIRECTV, Philo and more. Candidate experience in both traditional and streaming media is a plus.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Project manage 360-degree initiatives with affiliates, DTC, Digital and enterprise partners from conceptual stage through execution and analysis
Serve as day-day-to contact with external partners; build and maintain strong working relationships
Manage partner marketing, editorial, merchandizing efforts, including tracking of and analysis of placements, Content Sampling & Stunting calendarization
Expand presence of AMCN linear brands and streaming services on our distributors platforms; negotiate for improved placement and promotion
Act as an established resource for customer experience by maintaining a comprehensive understanding of partner UI and growth product capabilities
Proactively identify, assess, and present business opportunities
Support the VP(s) and Director(s) in development and implementation of partner-focused revenue strategies and overall account maintenance, including projects such as:
Presentation development (including Business Reviews)
Curate programming opportunities for partners
Research insights and tracking
Account summaries and campaign performance reviews
Management and optimization of contractual media and marketing budgets
Creative asset recommendations, approvals and trafficking
Oversight and communication of partner creative schedules, timelines, deadlines
QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications
5-7 years of relevant work experience, ideally in the media industry
Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with all levels of management and directly with clients
Well organized, detail oriented and able to balance shifting priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
The base compensation range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 commensurate with experience.
