The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.We are currently seeking a Director - Security Operations to join our Real Estate, Facilities &amp; Security team based in our New York, New York headquarters.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  <ul><li>Leading the development and implementation of comprehensive physical security strategies and policies. </li><li>Developing and leading company-wide security initiatives. </li><li>Educating senior leadership, managers, and employees regarding proper security protocols. </li><li>Conducting internal risk assessments and security audits and recommending enhancements to improve security. </li><li>Conducting regular emergency response drills and training. </li><li>Coordinating security efforts during high-profile Company events. </li><li>Investigating and taking appropriate actions with respect to online threats against Company personnel. </li><li>Conducting Crisis Management Training. </li><li>Preparing regular reports for executive management on security status and incident response. </li><li>Liaising with corporate security teams provided by Landlord at Company leased properties. </li><li>Overseeing contract security personnel and working with outside security consultants. </li><li>Keeping abreast of the latest security trends and technologies, implementing innovative solutions as appropriate. </li><li>Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent security practices and measured response. </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (Required &amp; Preferred) <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university </li><li>Proven track record of 10+ years, combining corporate security expertise and/or law enforcement leadership experience. </li><li>Deep knowledge of standard security best practices and crisis management protocols, with strong understanding of physical security technology and its role in supporting operations. </li><li>Ability to liaise with U.S. law enforcement and intelligence personnel. </li><li>Professional demeanor, organized, and detail oriented. </li><li>Ability to handle sensitive information with appropriate discretion. </li><li>Excellent decision-making skills and the ability to respond effectively to high-pressure situations. </li></ul>The base compensation range for this position is $140,000 to $175,000 commensurate with experience.
