Reporting to the VP, Advanced Advertising this executive will assist in building, collaborating, and maintenance of a sustainable Digital Advertising monetization strategy. This role is responsible for driving innovation in ad technology and business models, expanding diversified revenue streams, and aligning with Ad Sales on how advertising evolves across our distribution networks and owned-and-operated SVOD platforms.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>Aid in the evolution of AMCN’s Advanced Advertising products and strategies in an ever-changing landscape </li><li>Work cross-functionally to help support conversation amongst key stakeholders and collaborators across the organization to build and execute product strategy   </li><li>Maintain end-to-end implementation, configuration, and ongoing operation of our ad server platforms. This includes technical integration, optimization, and troubleshooting</li><li>Closely collaborate with BI, Sales, P&amp;I, Research and Ad Ops to define, specify and drive The execution of AMCN’s segmentation and data offerings </li><li>Implement and enforce strict ad quality guidelines and ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and internal policies</li><li>Support Account Executives/Managers to help build, steward and report out on advanced campaigns </li><li>Partner closely with Adtech, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Legal teams to ensure seamless ad product development, integration, and compliance</li><li>Help in refining the overall ad operations strategy, better aligning with business objectives to maximize revenue</li><li>Support organization on all audience-based buying solutions, most notably addressable and data-driven buying </li><li>Assist platform and partner relationships to encourage growth </li></ul>QUALIFICATIONS (Required &amp; Preferred)<ul><li>Minimum 8+ years of experience in ad operations</li><li>Bachelors Degree</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li><li>Positive “can do” and “rolled up your sleeves” attitude with a constant drive to iterate and improve</li><li>Understanding of Ad Serving Ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, Exchanges, Networks, Ad Servers, etc.)</li><li>Understanding of CTV environments (vMVPDs, OTT, Addressable TV, etc.)</li><li>Knowledge of Video Ad Serving Protocols (VAST, VPAID, OpenRTB)</li><li>The ability to explain complex technical requirements and ideas to both technical and commercially focused people both internally and externally</li><li>Strong work ethic and time management skills.  Self-starter individual who thrives in fast-changing and dynamic environment</li><li>Experience in troubleshooting and working through issues with third-party technology vendors including DSPs, DMPs, and Ad servers</li><li>Knowledge and experience working with advertising reporting, analysis systems, and tools</li><li>Ability to prioritize workload and handle multiple tasks simultaneously</li></ul>The base compensation range for this position is $115,000 to $145,000 commensurate with experience.
