    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $226,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.     AWS Solutions is seeking a Senior Quantitative UX Researcher to bring impactful, actionable, and scalable research insights to teams innovating next-gen agentic AI products. Youll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver research that fundamentally transforms how we understand and serve our customers evolving technological needs. You will work closely with product stakeholders, executives and end users to ensure that new innovations, features, and enhancements are rooted in customer needs, while exemplifying UX excellence across AWS.

    Key job responsibilities
    As a Sr. Quantitative UX Researcher, you will be responsible for research that informs a broad range of partner product teams throughout the development lifecycle, starting from forging a deep understanding of what research does, who our customers are, how they work, and the logic behind their implicit needs. You are well-versed and experienced in various quantitative user research methods, and have proven impact on product decisions based on your findings.

    You are able to synthesize your insights in a way that product and engineering teams can quickly to take action. You recognize the value of working quickly while maintaining high standards in deliverables that matters most to moving our organizational priorities forward. A successful candidate has demonstrated history of excellent communication and writing skills and employs them daily. You excel at transforming complex data into compelling stories that drive product decisions. Experience with sampling design and survey data weighting is desirable. Competency in mixed-methods or qualitative approaches is also desirable.

    Responsibilities:

    - Independently design and conduct sophisticated quantitative user research methodologies, including surveys, measurement strategy, data collection, and statistical analysis that provide deep insights into user behavior and product opportunities
    - Triangulate and synthesize quantitative insights into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that drive product improvements and business strategy
    - Deliver well-structured and insightful reports to stakeholders, peers, and senior leaders, contributing to the strategic planning of the product roadmap and help evolve research practices to meet changing business and user needs
    - Drive research goals and research programs across multiple stakeholders and teams, managing complex relationships and building consensus when faced with discordant views



    A day in the life
    Your day will be dynamic and impact-driven. Youll engage with product teams, conduct in-depth research studies, analyze complex datasets, and translate findings into actionable recommendations. Youll move seamlessly between strategic planning, data collection, and storytelling, ensuring that user perspectives are at the heart of product development.

    You will regularly meet with executives and senior leaders to understand critical organizational priorities, with customers to understand user needs and problem statements, as well as execution stakeholders to keep lockstep with product innovation needs at every milestone in the product development lifecycle. You will organize research accordingly, and proactively decide how to make the best use of time to produce insights that impacts stakeholder work from day-to-day.
