This role will be instrumental in overseeing all aspects of our global real estate portfolio and facilities management as we continue scaling our high-growth SaaS business.</p> <p>The Director will own the strategy, operations, and standards for our physical locations, ensuring operational rigor, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and a world-class employee experience. This is a highly visible leadership position requiring an experienced operator who thrives in high-growth environments, is detail-oriented, and can drive organizational maturity while maintaining agility.</p> <h3><strong>Who You Are</strong></h3> <ul> <li><strong>10+ years of progressive facilities and real estate management experience</strong>, including a minimum of 5 years managing an international, multi-site corporate portfolio.</li> <li><strong>5+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing, geographically distributed facilities teams.</strong></li> <li><strong>Deep expertise in global corporate real estate strategies</strong>, lease administration, site selection, and construction/project management for office fit-outs.</li> <li><strong>Proven track record of managing multi-million dollar OpEx and CapEx budgets</strong>, delivering cost efficiencies without compromising quality or safety.</li> <li><strong>Expert knowledge of facility systems, safety protocols, and physical security standards</strong> (e.g., OSHA, local regulatory compliance).</li> <li><strong>Strong business acumen with the ability to translate strategic workplace trends into actionable insights</strong> for executive leadership and long-term planning.</li> <li><strong>Exceptional communication, executive presence, and cross-functional partnership skills</strong> across Finance, Legal, People/HR, and IT.</li> </ul> <h3><strong>What Youll Do</strong></h3> <h4><strong>I. Global Facilities Operations &amp; Standards</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Own the rigor, quality, and timeliness of all day-to-day facilities operations, including maintenance, repairs, and service contracts across the global portfolio.</li> <li>Develop, implement, and maintain <strong>consistent operational procedures and high-quality physical standards</strong> across all offices to ensure a unified global employee experience.</li> <li>Select, negotiate, and rigorously manage all critical third-party vendors (cleaning, security, maintenance, food services) to ensure performance meets established SLAs and budget targets.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>II. Real Estate Portfolio Strategy &amp; Management</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Lead the <strong>corporate real estate strategy</strong>, partnering with Finance and Legal on lease administration, critical date tracking, market analysis, and renewals/terminations.</li> <li>Direct all capital projects for office build-outs and major renovations, ensuring <strong>seamless execution</strong>, adherence to budget, and compliance with global design guidelines.</li> <li>Develop and manage space utilization models and occupancy planning strategies that align with AlphaSense’s hybrid work model and support future global headcount growth.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>III. Workplace Experience &amp; Safety</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary internal champion for the physical workplace environment, ensuring the infrastructure and amenities promote a safe, productive, and inspiring atmosphere globally.</li> <li>Oversee the infrastructure for <strong>physical office security</strong> (access control, visitor management) and lead the development of robust emergency preparedness and business continuity plans.</li> </ul> <p>Collaborate with the People and IT teams to ensure the physical environment and office services support employee connection and a <strong>seamless technological experience</strong>.</p><div><div><div><p>For base compensation, we set standard ranges for all roles based on function and level benchmarked against similar stage growth companies and internal comparables.
