This role aims to increase client satisfaction and revenue through retention. You will handle project-based technical post-implementation needs as defined by Customer Success Managers, scope out use cases and custom configurations, and offer creative technical solutions supported by bespoke documentation to Alloy clients.</p> <p>Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter. </p> <h2><strong>What youll be doing</strong></h2> <p>As Alloy grows, we’re scaling our Technical Account Management (TAM) team to deliver strategic technical partnership at every stage of the client lifecycle. This role is focused on Partnerships – someone who can support integration partners and data service providers, scope and solution technical use cases, and act as a proactive partner ensuring joint clients adopt and optimize Alloy through those partnerships. As a Senior Technical Account Manager, you will be a proactive, strategic technical partner for clients, bridging the gap between Alloy’s technical depth and client outcomes. You’ll collaborate closely with Partnerships Executives, Product, and Engineering to ensure clients maximize the long-term value of Alloy.</p> <p>Key responsibilities include:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Scoping &amp; Solutioning</strong> – Partner with CSMs and clients to uncover business objectives, technical requirements, and design Alloy configurations that align to future-state goals.</li> <li><strong>Owning Technical Use Cases</strong> – Translate client needs into Alloy workflows, integrations, and architectural recommendations that drive scalability, compliance, and business value.</li> <li><strong>Proactive Partnership</strong> – Anticipate technical needs and surface opportunities for optimization before they become issues, through roadmap alignment sessions, health checks, and usage reviews.</li> <li><strong>Migration &amp; Implementation Support</strong> – Where needed, guide clients through new API endpoints, SDK updates, or service migrations, ensuring best practices and avoiding technical debt.</li> <li><strong>Driving Technical Health</strong> – Run technical account reviews, lead data deep-dives, and deliver recommendations that help clients adopt best practices and scale confidently.</li> <li><strong>Thought Leadership</strong> – Stay current on Alloy’s evolving ecosystem and industry best</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who we’re looking for</strong></h2> <p>We’re looking for someone who combines technical depth with strong client-facing skills and thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.</p> <ul> <li>4-6 years of experience supporting or implementing complex technical products in a client-facing role</li> <li>Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and deliver tactical solutions</li> <li>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to synthesize technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li> <li>Experience scoping and solutioning API integrations and systems architecture</li> <li>Hands-on technical skills in many of the following:<br /> <ul> <li>REST APIs</li> <li>SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)</li> <li>Backend languages (Node.js preferred)</li> <li>Web development (JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React)</li> </ul> </li> <li>Passion for learning and applying new tools, data strategies, and best practices</li> <li>Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and follow-through</li> <li>Able to travel 2-4x a year for client engagements</li> <li>Able to participate in client production readiness and support production launches (these occasionally occur outside of 9a-5p hours)</li> <li>Prior experience in fraud, compliance, or financial services preferred but not required</li> </ul> <p>Were a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package.
