You’ll report to the Senior Manager, Revenue Operations and will play a critical role in the growth of the Revenue Operations function. In this role, you would serve as the primary point of contact for deal-related inquiries, escalations, and approvals, and help the field team in creative deal structuring and negotiations to close deals.</p> <p>Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.</p> <h2><strong>What youll be doing</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Manage and oversee the deal desk process, ensuring efficient response SLAs and approvals</li> <li>Partner with sales teams to structure and approve complex deals that align with business objectives and comply with company policies</li> <li>Provide strategic guidance on pricing, discounting, and contract terms to optimize deal profitability and competitiveness</li> <li>Develop and maintain deal desk policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company guidelines </li> <li>Collaborate with Sales, Legal, and Finance teams to resolve deal-related issues and escalate complex deals as needed</li> <li>Partner with Enablement to share deal desk related trainings, guidelines, and scale processes</li> <li>Streamline the deal approval process to reduce cycle times and improve sales velocity</li> <li>Administer and maintain deal desk documentation and ensure data accuracy and integrity in systems</li> <li>Enable sales and supporting team members on deal desk processes and best practices</li> <li>Analyze deal desk metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements</li> <li>Manage and analyze deal economics and proposal acceptance trends; identify opportunities to improve deal structures, strategies, and processes based on market and historical data</li> <li>Drive deal desk meeting cadence, including deal desk office hours and other preparation forums</li> <li>Develop and implement pricing and packaging strategies</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who we’re looking for</strong></h2> <ul> <li>5+ years of progressive experience in a deal desk operations or equivalent role at a high growth SaaS company; bonus if you have experience in management consulting or banking as well</li> <li>Strong understanding of contract structuring, playbook creation, and approval processes</li> <li>Proven ability to own and run complex deals end-to-end, encompassing commercials, legal, security and finance.</li> <li>Solid understanding of SaaS business models and subscription pricing/management.</li> <li>Solid understanding of Finance and Accounting processes as they relate to SaaS, including billing, invoicing, revenue recognition.</li> <li>Excellent first principles thinking skills</li> <li>Strong analytical skills; ability to thoughtfully structure analyses, answer key business questions, and drive decision making</li> <li>This is a first-in-seat role, you’ll be working through high amounts of ambiguity and expected to work with senior leaders to prioritize initiatives </li> <li>Experience in fast-paced environments and be comfortable working both as part of a team and independently</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple concurrent projects</li> <li>Able to work with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-moving startup or hyper-growth environment</li> <li>Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams</li> <li>Familiarity with Salesforce and contract management systems (e.g. Ironclad)</li> </ul> <p>Were a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package.
