You will play a critical role in supporting the accounting team in the month-end close process, year end audit as well as help develop and implement key processes and systems to scale the accounting operations to support the fast growing business. We’re looking for someone who is a team player, resourceful problem solver, analytical thinker and not afraid to get their hands dirty.</p> <h2><strong>What youll be doing</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Oversee month-end close processes, including Accounts Payable and employee expenses, and liaise with internal business partners.</li> <li>Perform monthly financial results analysis and report on variances against prior periods.</li> <li>Post journal entries (e.g. month-end accruals), reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts, and manage the T&amp;E system.</li> <li>Maintain thorough documentation of internal controls and processes to meet external audit requirements.</li> <li>Support the manager in implementing SOX Compliance and Risk Assessment controls for the team.</li> <li>Enhance business processes by conducting analysis and researching industry best practices.</li> <li>Assist with external audit requests and ad hoc projects.</li> </ul> <h2><strong>Who we’re looking for</strong></h2> <ul> <li>BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting</li> <li>2-3 years of accounting experience, including experience in the software / technology industry (including 1-2 years of Accounts Payable experience)</li> <li>Knowledge of US GAAP required</li> <li>Experience with Netsuite preferred</li> <li>Proficient excel skills</li> <li>Experience at a startup or high growth company a plus</li> <li>Strong accountability and detail oriented</li> <li>Ability to work independently and solve complex problems</li> <li>Excellent communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners at various levels</li> <li>Hunger to learn and grow - new things arent scary for you, theyre exciting</li> </ul> <p>Were a lean team, so your impact will be felt immediately, and opportunities will grow as the company scales up. Below is the anticipated starting base compensation range for this role; however, pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, in-demand skills, relevant experience, and/or geography. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is also eligible for equity awards in the form of stock options (ISOs) as well as a competitive total benefits package.
