We are seeking a seasoned Senior Optimization Consultant to serve as a strategic operator and performance catalyst within our core business functions. In this high-impact role, you will lead enterprise-wide initiatives that drive operational excellence, enhance organizational agility, and accelerate execution against strategic priorities.


The role will act as a force multiplier across departments—translating data into insight, insight into action, and action into measurable results. This role is ideal for a mid-career professional with deep experience in operational improvement, cross-functional collaboration, and project execution in complex, fast-paced environments.



The ideal candidate combines strong analytical acumen with proven leadership in managing performance initiatives that cut across teams, business units, or geographies. You will be expected to proactively identify systemic challenges, design scalable solutions, and embed operational rigor that improves efficiency, quality, and outcomes enterprise wide.

Job Duties/Responsibilities: 

Drive Strategic Insight to Prioritize Business-Critical Opportunities 

  • Analyze operational data, trends, and KPIs to uncover inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for performance improvement 

  • Conduct root cause analyses to ensure initiatives address the most critical and systemic challenges 

  • Partner with analytics, strategy, and business teams to prioritize opportunities based on impact and feasibility 

  • Translate complex data into clear insights that inform business decisions and action plans 

Design and Execute Solutions That Drive Results 

  • Develop targeted, scalable solutions that address root problems across workflows, cost, and quality 

  • Lead cross-functional project teams through planning, execution, and implementation of operational initiatives 

  • Build and manage detailed project plans with defined goals, milestones, and success metrics 

  • Align stakeholders across functions, manage risks, and drive accountability to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and with measurable impact 

Sustain Improvements Through Strong Operating Models and Continuous Optimization 

  • Design and implement repeatable operating models, workflows, and governance structures to embed improvements into daily operations 

  • Standardize tools, templates, and performance reporting to support scale and consistency 

  • Monitor the long-term impact of implemented solutions, adjust strategies based on feedback and performance data 

  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement by driving operational discipline, accountability, and learning loops across teams 

 

Job Requirements: 

 

Experience: 

  • 8+ years of experience in operations, consulting, or program management roles, preferably in healthcare, tech, or complex services industry. 

  • Demonstrated success in leading strategic, cross-functional initiatives and driving measurable performance improvement. 

  • Strong project management, facilitation, and analytical skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies. 

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills; comfortable working with frontline teams and senior executives alike. 

  • Proficient in productivity and analysis tools (Excel, PowerPoint, project management platforms, BI dashboards, etc.). 

 

 

Education: 

• Required: High School Diploma or GEDBachelors degree or four years of additional experience in lieu of education. 

• Preferred: MBA, PMP 
 

Training: 

• Required: N/A 

• Preferred: Lean/Six Sigma 
 

Specialized Skills: 

• Required:  

  • Ability to communicate positively, professionally and effectively with others; provide leadership, teach and collaborate with others. 

  • Effective written and oral communication skills; ability to establish and maintain a constructive relationship with diverse members, management, employees and vendors;  

  • Mathematical Skills:  Ability to perform mathematical calculations and calculate simple statistics correctly 

  • Reasoning Skills:  Ability to prioritize multiple tasks; advanced problem-solving; ability to use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and design, implement and manage appropriate resolution. 

  • Problem-Solving Skills:  Effective problem solving, organizational and time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Report Analysis SkillsAbility to comprehend, interpret, and draw insights from statistical reports and data visualizations.

Pay Range: $98,550.00 - $147,825.00

Pay range may be based on a number of factors including market location, education, responsibilities, experience, etc.
