The Learning and Development Specialist plays a key role in enhancing employee skills, knowledge, and per-formance by designing, developing, and facilitating high-impact learning programs. This role focuses on build-ing engaging and effective learning experiences through instructional design, content development, and live facilitation. The ideal candidate is a dynamic trainer and curriculum developer who is passionate about foster-ing a culture of continuous learning and growth across the organization.

Design, develop, and deliver engaging learning content using instructional design best practices for in-person, virtual, and hybrid formats.
Facilitate training sessions, workshops, and programs that support employee development, onboarding, leadership, and technical skill-building.
Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and HR partners to assess learning needs and create targeted training solutions.
Develop interactive learning materials including presentations, e-learning modules, workbooks, guides, and job aids.
Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, assessments, and performance data to continuously improve program quality.
Manage and maintain the Learning Management System (LMS), ensuring content is current, accessible, and engaging.
Support the implementation of company-wide development initiatives such as onboarding, compliance training, and leadership development.
Stay current on trends in adult learning theory, instructional design, and facilitation techniques.
Contribute to fostering a culture of learning and professional development throughout the organization.

Experience:

• Required: Minimum 3 years

Education:

Preferred Bachelors degree in Education, Human Resources, Instructional Design, or related field. Four years of additional experience in lieu of education.

Specialized Skills:

Proven experience in instructional design and training facilitation.
Strong platform skills with the ability to engage and inspire learners in both virtual and in-person environments.
Proficiency in e-learning development tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Camtasia, Canva) and LMS platforms.
Knowledge of adult learning principles and curriculum design methodologies.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives simultaneously.
Experience measuring learning effectiveness and applying data to improve content.
Certification in instructional design, learning & development, or facilitation (e.g., ATD, CPLP, CPTD) is a plus.

Pay Range: $64,384.00 - $96,577.00
