<div><span>As the Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead by being a highly technical leader who delivers high business impact on projects of increasing dependencies and ambiguity. </span></div><div><span>You will lead a team of individual contributors in the development of technology that saves lives and improves mental and physical health for millions of people. </span></div><div><span>You will lead a team that is building an AI platform and supports AI enablement across the company. </span></div><div><span>At Aledade, we empower primary care physicians with technology to keep their patients healthy, preventing unnecessary hospitalizations.</span></div><h3>Primary Duties:</h3><ul><li>Build a high performing team by hiring and nurturing engineering talent.</li><li>Strong technical leadership - drive technical solutioning and building roadmaps.</li><li>Set aggressive and clear goals and remove all roadblocks for the team to achieve them.</li><li>Working seamlessly and collaboratively with stakeholders across Aledade to achieve business outcomes.</li><li>Work closely with engineering leaders to drive engineering excellence in our processes and systems.</li><div><br /></div></ul><h3>Minimum Qualifications:</h3><ul><li>BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field required.</li><li>10+ years of production-level experience as an engineer and technical lead building highly scalable and reliable software. </li><li>5+ years of managerial experience building and leading technical engineering teams.</li><li>Experience managing AI and platform engineering teams.</li></ul><h3>Preferred KSA’s:</h3><ul><li>You have experience in attracting, hiring, and coaching world-class engineers including performance management.</li><li>You have experience in taking ownership of the technology decisions, while delegating and empowering team members.</li><li>You have experience communicating analysis and establishing confidence among audiences who do not share your disciplinary background or training.</li><li>You have strong communication and relationship building skills, with experience influencing and aligning multiple stakeholders.</li><li>You have experience managing platform engineering teams that have built production grade infrastructure for MLOps or LLM Ops. </li><li>You have experience leading big data engineering teams.</li><li>5+ years experience building and managing platform engineering teams and specifically machine learning platform engineering teams at scale. </li><li>Experience managing AI platform engineering teams on python stack.</li><li>Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.</li><li>Leadership Experience. You have led engineering teams in past roles, demonstrating an ability to mentor, inspire, and drive technical excellence. </li><li>Strategic Vision. You have experience crafting and executing a strategic vision for the team. You have connected day-to-day tactics to long-term strategy, ensuring that the teams output aligns with our business goals.</li><li>Planning Prowess. Your background includes translating business objectives into technological roadmaps, aligning short-term actions with long-term strategic goals, and effectively communicating these plans to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Experience with Scaled Deployment. Your experience includes managing the challenges of software deployment, updates, and maintenance across thousands of remote endpoints (browser/windows apps/etc.).</li><li>Experience in building and managing chromium based apps, pluggable UIs (overlays) which work via chrome plugins / chromium apps  in browsers / windows desktop. </li><li>Experience with the healthcare industry, understanding of healthcare-related regulatory compliance, and Electronic Health Records (EHRs/EMRs) is a plus.</li><li>You have experience in attracting, hiring, and coaching world-class engineers including performance management.</li><li>Familiarity with at least 1 server-side web technology (eg: Nodejs, Java, Python, Scala, C#, C++,Go, JVM). Python preferred.</li><li>Experience with cloud based technologies such as AWS, Azure or google cloud.</li></ul><h3>Physical Requirements:</h3><ul><li>Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.</li></ul>
