Analyst, Health Plan Performance

The Health Plan Performance (HPP) Analyst plays a key role in conducting data analysis, tracking key performance indicators, and delivering  detailed operational support to ensure contract success of our practices across their assigned Line(s) of Business (Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and/ or Medicaid). 

Primary Duties:

  • Conduct data analysis to identify  trends and strategic opportunities for quality improvement across Aledade’s value-based care portfolio within assigned Line(s) of Business. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to health service utilization, cost of care, and quality measure performance for applicable health plan payer contracts(Commercial, Medicare Advantage, and/or Medicaid) as directed by  Health Plan Performance Leadership. Prepare and deliver monthly KPI reports to field teams, supporting data-driven decision-making and performance optimization.
  • Collaborate  with subject matter experts to support market workflows addressing quality measures; conduct assessments to identify  opportunities for cost reduction, drive quality performance improvement, and improve value-based care interventions. 
  • Synthesize performance status and market interventions by contract to support preparation of performance meetings with payer partners, in partnership with the PSE team.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and data analysis support  for field teams and internal partners, as directed by Health Plan Performance leadership
  • Other duties as assigned 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health services administration, health policy, mathematics/statistics, information technology, or other relevant fields or equivalent work experience required
  • Two years of experience in an analytic role
  • Extensive Excel or Google Sheets experience with data manipulation and pivot tables
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exemplary communication skills both written and verbal
  • Highly organized and proactive in raising questions around clarity, prioritization, blockers, and other points to drive assigned tasks forward
  • Commitment to Aledade’s mission of serving primary care providers, their patients and society 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience using Tableau or other data management software 
  • Comfortable tackling ambiguous problems with a high degree of autonomy
  • Experience with data automation (e.g. macros) and advanced analytics tools (e.g. SQL, Snowflake) leveraging AI to drive scalable analytics 

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
