The Scrum and Cross-Team Project Manager in Device Integrations role is perfect for candidates who want to gain exposure to a wide variety of technologies in the IoT world, including hardware, embedded systems, and communications technologies. This role also will be more technically involved with the firmware platform team in coordinating deliverables across multiple products and stakeholders. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES <ul> <li>Support Engineering and Product Management teams to properly scope, integrate, and deliver software changes in a fast-paced Agile development environment.</li> <li>Lead and/or support cross-functional, technical initiatives representing Engineering to ensure requirements are accurately captured and ultimately get realized.  </li> <li>Complete ownership of the project development lifecycle and project team task tracking, utilizing existing hybrid Agile and Scrum methodologies.</li> <li>Proactive identification, escalation, and resolution of dependencies, risks, and prioritization conflicts. Does this without needing prompting from others.</li> <li>Understand development processes and procedures within the Device Engineering organization, including integrated firmware project requirements for successful product design and delivery.</li> <li>Establish consistent guidelines to measure project milestones, effectively prioritize deliverables, and manage cross-project dependencies to meet delivery goals.</li> <li>Create and adapt solutions to efficiently aggregate and communicate information spread across projects and technical groups.</li> <li>Coordinate with local and remote team leads and members to succeed with the use of project management techniques and task tracking platforms.</li> <li>Communicate with and report on projects to Engineering Leads, Product Management, and Program Management on a weekly basis.</li> <li>Maintain and improve Engineering processes and documentation where there are opportunities, including formal delivery of documentation to 3rd parties, as needed.</li> <li>Help align internal Engineering teams as they scale team members internationally and bring on new devices and engineering features.</li> <li>Step in to own and execute on specific project tasks, as needed.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned.</li> </ul> REQUIREMENTS <ul> <li>B.S. in Engineering discipline (or higher-level degree), or relevant job experience.</li> <li>6-8 years of hands-on project management and cross-functional engineering team experience.</li> <li>Experience managing technical software development projects in a team environment.</li> <li>Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.</li> <li>Experience with code management tools a plus.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The position requires understanding and coordination of development needs across multiple teams.</li> <li>Ability to context switch, desire to learn, and strong communication skills.</li> <li>Ability to connect with people and build working relationships.</li> <li>Customer service mentality and willingness to resolve issues completely.</li> <li>Minimal travel possible (0-5%).</li> <li>PMP or Scrum Master certification a plus.</li> </ul> Please note that sponsorship of new applicants for employment authorization, or any other immigration-related support, is not available for this position at this time.
