There are four main components to the work the community does :<ul><li>Sales strategy and planning (incl. strat plan, target setting, territory design)</li><li>Sales effectiveness, tools and processes (incl. the tech stack and its usage)</li><li>Sales enablement (inc. onboarding and continuous growth)</li><li>Business segments leadership (incl. owning the P&amp;L and GTM strategy of specific segments)</li></ul>Across all these areas we work very closely with the Sales and Account Management teams.The scope of the role is within the sales effectiveness area and scope is Global (France, Belgium, Spain, Canada)<h1>🕵️ Goals &amp; missions</h1>The team:<ul><li>The Sales Effectiveness team is responsible for the sales team efficiency and therefore a key aspect of the company P&amp;L: our customer acquisition cost</li><li>They work across our sales organization (Account Executives, BDR, Account Management, Customer Success Manager) to identify opportunities to improve our sales approach</li></ul>The role includes:<ul><li>Spending significant time on the field to identify gaps in our sales process</li><li>Designing / enhancing existing processes by removing steps, increasing automations</li><li>Identifying new tools or technologies to answer challenges, test, validate and implement them</li><li>Ensure proper change management</li></ul>You will mostly leverage low-code tools (similar to Zapier, n8n, ...), AI (Dust), CRM (Salesforce), SQL (Metabase) &amp; other tools to deliver those initiatives.Examples of initiatives in our 2025 roadmap :<ul><li>We fully automated the generation of slide decks for Sales, embedding dozens of datapoints and personalization to save +1000 hours of Sales time yearly </li><li>We created an automated outbound machine with AI, reaching 15% discovery rate</li></ul><h2>Must have</h2><ul><li>3-6 years of experience in a similar role</li><li>Strong taste for being hands-on. Part of your job is to partner with sales teams and provide Operational support.</li><li>Comfortable with change management (you’ll need to shadow, train, measure, drive adoption and iterate)</li><li>Good SQL knowledge and data rigor</li><li>Power user of some low-code tools (Zapier, Make, Salesforce screenflows or equivalent)</li><li>Strong business sense and ability to go deep in understanding the operational details of Sales work</li><li>High interest in new technologies such as GenAI with experience in deploying AI projects (you’ll need to prompt and build tools using this technology)</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Fluency in English and French</li></ul><h2>Nice to have</h2><ul><li>Previous experience in the insurance industry</li><li>Experience in tier 1 tech companies</li><li>Exposure to large Sales teams</li><li>Knowledge of Salesforce CRM</li></ul><h1>🙌 <a target="_blank" href="https://alan.com/about/life-at-alan/a/perks">Perks &amp; Benefits</a></h1>At Alan, we believe that being in good health is a basic need, and it starts with our employees.
