Now we’re looking for our Founding Account Executive to bring Aktos to the next wave of customers. <hr /> <h3>About the Role</h3> As our first full-time sales hire, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our go-to-market strategy, directly closing deals, and setting the foundation for a world-class sales motion. This is a rare opportunity to get in early at a fast-moving startup and help define how we sell, who we sell to, and how we win. You’ll work closely with our CEO, product, and customer success teams to deeply understand the customer journey and help agencies adopt software that actually works for them. The sales stack we use: <ul> <li>CRM: HubSpot</li> <li>Prospecting Tools: ZoomInfo, Apollo</li> <li>Other: Grain, Slack, Zoom, etc.</li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>What Youll Do</h3> <ul> <li> Own the entire sales process from first call to close — including prospecting, qualifying, demoing, and negotiating. </li> <li> Partner with leadership to define ICPs, refine messaging, and improve sales playbooks. </li> <li> Collaborate with product and customer success to relay user feedback and shape roadmap priorities. </li> <li> Track your pipeline, forecast deals, and manage opportunities in our CRM. </li> <li> Experiment rapidly and iterate — cold calls, events, outbound campaigns, whatever moves the needle. </li> <li> Lay the groundwork for a scalable sales org: tools, processes, and early hiring. </li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>You Might Be a Fit If You:</h3> <ul> <li> Have 1–3 years of experience in a full-cycle sales role, ideally at a startup or in a technical SaaS environment. </li> <li> Are a strong communicator who can simplify complex products for non-technical buyers. </li> <li> Are scrappy, proactive, and thrive in ambiguity — you don’t wait to be told what to do. </li> <li> Care deeply about customer outcomes and love building trust through consultative selling. </li> <li> Want to help build something from zero and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty. </li> <li> Have some familiarity with SMB/vertical SaaS, payments, or fintech (bonus points for collections experience). </li> </ul> <hr /> <h3>Why Join Us?</h3> <ul> <li> 💼 Be a true owner — this is not just another AE role.
