At Akido, every idea counts, every voice matters, and every day brings a new opportunity to learn, grow, and make a lasting impact.    <h3>What you will do: </h3> <ul> <li>Design, build and test new features based on our technology and business needs within an agile environment where we embrace frequent releases and quality code. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Provide strong technical leadership in areas of design, architecture, quality and developer productivity </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Tech lead projects and help define the work streams required to deliver projects and features </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Improve testing and tooling for our apps and services </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Collaborate with various product and technical team members and leaders </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Write structured, tested, readable and maintainable code. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Optimize apps and services for performance, scalability and user experience </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Develop and maintain reusable code and libraries </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and distribute knowledge </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Support your teammates by continuing to learn and grow </li> </ul>   <h3>What you bring: </h3> <ul> <li>Minimum 7 years experience in software engineering including 4+ years of experience with full stack architecture, distributed systems and microservices  </li> </ul> <ul> <li>A product-centric mindset and ability to challenge product owners and teammates to improve in all areas of product engineering. </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Desire to write feature code as well as infrastructure as code for builds and deployments </li> </ul> <ul> <li>Strong quality and test automation bias.
