You will support a wide range of IT functions including asset management, change and incident tracking, directory services, and knowledge systems. A key focus of this role is applying AI—particularly generative AI and platform-native capabilities—to enhance IT workflows and tooling.</p> <h1><strong>What youll do</strong></h1> <h4><strong>Airtable Development &amp; System Design</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Build, enhance, and maintain Airtable bases that support IT functions including Asset Management, Change Management, Incident Management, and Directory Services.</li> <li>Use Airtable Interfaces, Automations, and AI features to deliver scalable and intelligent solutions.</li> <li>Translate business and technical needs into user-friendly workflows, reports, and views.<br />Design and maintain data models that align with IT operational needs.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Process Improvement, AI &amp; Automation</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Analyze existing IT workflows and transition them into efficient Airtable-based systems.</li> <li>Implement automation and integration solutions using Airtable, scripting (Python, JavaScript), and APIs.</li> <li>Develop and integrate AI-powered solutions—including generative AI and platform-native AI tools—to streamline repetitive tasks, enhance knowledge management, and support decision-making.</li> <li>Continuously improve features and logic to optimize performance, usability, and maintainability.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Support &amp; Enablement</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Provide Tier support for Airtable applications used across IT operations.</li> <li>Create documentation, guides, and training materials for IT staff and stakeholders.</li> <li>Promote Airtable best practices, usage standards, and knowledge-sharing across the team.</li> </ul> <h4><strong>Integration &amp; Collaboration</strong></h4> <ul> <li>Build integrations between Airtable and corporate SaaS platforms (e.g., Okta, Google Workspace, Slack, Service Desk tools).<br />Provide technical guidance on tooling strategy and system architecture.</li> <li>Capture and channel product feedback from IT teams to improve internal tooling experiences.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Who you are</strong></h1> <p>You are a detail-oriented builder with a strong foundation in internal tools and automation, and a passion for leveraging modern platforms like Airtable and AI to drive operational efficiency. You’re collaborative, adaptable, and focused on delivering systems that solve real problems for IT teams.</p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <ul> <li>5+ years of experience in IT engineering, technical operations, or internal tools development.</li> <li>Proven experience building Airtable solutions using automations, interfaces, and AI features.</li> <li>Hands-on experience implementing AI for automation—including generative AI, platform-native AI assistants, or chatbots.<br />Skilled in scripting (Python, JavaScript) and using APIs to connect Airtable with SaaS tools.</li> <li>Familiarity with SaaS ecosystems such as Google Workspace, Slack, and directory services.</li> <li>Strong systems thinking, analytical skills, and ability to model and manage relational data.</li> <li>Effective communicator (written, verbal, visual) with experience enabling internal stakeholders.</li> <li>Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and managing priorities across multiple initiatives.</li> <li>Self-starter with a collaborative mindset who thrives in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.</li> </ul> <p><span>Airtable is an equal opportunity employer.
