The team focuses on high-impact issues that require advanced troubleshooting, deep platform expertise, and cross-functional tooling knowledge, making DSE a key player in delivering technical excellence across Support.</p> <p>As an IC3, you’ll independently own high-complexity cases, collaborate across Product and Engineering, and help drive improvements to tooling, documentation, and the overall customer experience. You’ll also help shape the operational foundation for this growing function — with mentorship and growth pathways toward IC4+ roles.</p> <p> </p> <p><em><strong>**The successful candidate for this role must be located in the Eastern (ET) time zone to ensure alignment with team collaboration and business hours (7am-4pm ET).**</strong></em></p> <h1><strong>What youll do</strong></h1> <ul> <li>Resolve complex technical cases related to Airtable’s API, SAML/SSO configuration, SCIM provisioning, advanced automations, scripting, and third-party integrations.</li> <li>Own high-impact issues from start to finish, applying sound technical judgment and product knowledge — often in ambiguous or undocumented problem spaces.</li> <li>Act as a technical escalation point for teammates, offering insight on advanced issues and cross-functional workflows.</li> <li>Engage with Product and Engineering to escalate bugs, contribute customer context, and advocate for improvements across developer and admin surfaces.</li> <li>Contribute to team documentation, internal tooling, and support workflows to drive scale and clarity.</li> <li>Participate in <strong>developer and admin community engagement</strong>, through forums, webinars, and content contributions.</li> <li>Help expand our support for <strong>enterprise admin workflows</strong> — including troubleshooting Enterprise Hub, user provisioning, permission issues, and workspace governance.</li> <li>Identify and lead internal projects to improve tooling, reduce escalations, or streamline triage for the DSE team.</li> </ul> <h1><strong>Who you are</strong></h1> <ul> <li>You have 3+ years in advanced technical support, developer support, or a customer support engineering role, focused on APIs, integrations, or enterprise configuration.</li> <li>Youre confident working with REST APIs, JavaScript, OAuth/SAML/SSO, and debugging modern web workflows.</li> <li>You bring a systems-thinking mindset to technical problems — considering both the immediate fix and the underlying product or design implications.</li> <li>You’re a clear communicator who can navigate ambiguity and tailor your message to technical and non-technical audiences alike.</li> <li>You thrive in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment, and are comfortable working independently on high-priority technical issues.</li> <li>You regularly contribute to process improvements, technical documentation, and scalable support assets.</li> <li>You’re energized by unblocking others, and committed to growing your impact across the team, product, and customer experience.</li> </ul> <p><span>Airtable is an equal opportunity employer.
