In this role, you will work across the entire software development lifecycle, contributing to architecture, coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring high-quality and reliable deliverables. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to translate requirements into technical solutions. This position offers the chance to solve challenging technical problems, mentor junior engineers, and make a meaningful impact on the design, development, deployment, and operation of world-class software and features that add customer value.</div><h3>Your Responsibilities @ Aircall:</h3><ul><li>Participate in requirements analysis to help with providing the right technical and business solutions for our customers</li><li>Have key responsibilities within the design, architecture, and end-to-end delivery of your development</li><li>Write clean scalable code and test and deploy applications and systems</li><li>Revise, update, refactor, and debug code</li><li>Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.</li><li>Be part of an engineering organization delivering high quality, secure, voice solutions to Aircall clients</li><li>Involvement in product and platform performance optimization and live site monitoring</li><li>Participate in an on-call rotation to respond to critical system issues and ensure continuous system reliability</li><li>Mentor junior members of the team, providing guidance and support in their professional development.</li><li>Security is at the forefront of your mind in everything that you do</li></ul><h3>Basic Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5+ years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack development</li><li>Expert level programming ability with Typescript (+React), Python, or Ruby</li><li>Deep understanding of software development practices, scalable system architecture, security best practices and cloud-based platforms</li><li>Proven understanding of distributed computing principles and experience with cloud-based platforms</li><li>Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively troubleshoot complex data issues</li><li>Excellent communication and collaboration skills, you should thrive while working in a cross-functional team environment</li><li>Experience with on-call rotations, and implementing monitoring and alerting systems</li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities</li></ul><h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3><ul><li>7+ years of professional experience in back-end or full-stack development</li><li>5+ years of experience of deploying software to cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)</li><li>Extensive experience owning your own software through the complete software development life cycle</li><li>Significant experience in delivering software with a focus for security, scalability, availability, and performance</li></ul><div>Aircall is constantly moving forward.
