Wherever possible, we foster flexible working arrangements to stimulate innovative thinking.Your challenges:<ul><li>Act as focal point towards the suppliers for operational activities and contract management, and as ambassador of the supplier toward internal functions.</li><li>Work onsite at either of the allocated supplier site minimum 3 days a week</li><li>Ensure maturity and robustness of Suppliers manufacturing and supply chain processes to avoid supply failures</li><li>Manage supplier quality Approval/Authorization, ensure that suppliers are compliant with certifications required in coordination with relevant stakeholders.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement of Supply Chain related performances for deliveries of supplied products</li><li>Review supplier capacity and capability to secure ramp-up period as well as Airbus industrial objectives (major planning changes, ramp down, etc.)</li><li>Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance Indicators and organizing the surveillance of the suppliers through audits, assessments, recovery plan and mission, CID (Corrective, Improvement, Development) and industrial risks management with internal and external concerned parties</li><li>Initiate and organize suppliers ramp-up capacity and capabilities assessments in order to secure ramp-up or major planning changes</li><li>Monitor major industrial risks, major changes (industrial transfers, major planning changes) and supporting design changes on an industrial point of view in order to protect Airbus operations</li><li>Initiate and follow recovery plans with Suppliers in case of delivery performances degradation to ensure deliveries are back to Airbus requirements</li><li>Manage Suppliers preventive/corrective action plans so achievements are at the expected level in terms of end results.</li><li>Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as MFT leaders, Programs and Final Assembly Lines (FALs and pre-FALs). This includes communication, customer / supplier relation &amp; meetings, and improvement actions.</li><li>Maintain a close communication and coordination with the operational teams at internal customer sites, to ensure the contribution of all relevant functions to the delivery of procured goods or services.</li><li>Develop cross-functional teamworking and apply practical problem solving tools.</li><li>Understand the human aspect of change to accompany the teams in implementing new ways of working.</li></ul>Your boarding pass:<ul><li>Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education.</li><li>8+ years professional experience in a procurement operations environment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent.</li><li>Knowledge and expertise of Quality Regulations, Quality Core Tools Knowledge, Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Practical Problem Solving, International Mgmt. system standards, Authorities / Regulations / Standards, Knowledge of QMS, Auditing/Assessing, IPCA+ and CCP tools / Risk Management / Continuous Improvement (Lean Six Sigma) desirable.</li><li>Knowledge of various aerospace products technologies (Detail parts machining/sheet metal, Standard parts, Composites and paints/sealants) or automotive equivalence is highly preferred</li><li>Valid Driver’s License</li><li>Green Belt/Black Belt certification, CPIM certification (Certified in Production &amp; Inventory Management)</li><li>Authorization to work in the U.S. is required.</li></ul>“Salary range based on the required profile: 130,000 to 145,000/year (including a variable part based on your performance).
