As a Storage / Data Protection Senior Technical Consultant, you will utilize your extensive knowledge and experience to design, develop and deploy solutions utilizing Data Center technologies. You will work with a collaborative team leading, mentoring and ensuring development efforts are well documented and delivered with quality. You will work with customer service owners, process owners and various service delivery groups and participate in demos and meetings in a professional and courteous manner. The Storage / Data Protection Senior Technical Consultant is a highly experienced subject matter expert on Data Center technologies with strong experience designing, developing and deploying integrations with external third party tools. There is an expectation of at least 25% travel.

Key Responsibilities

Perform File and Object Data analysis and Data Migration
Perform Block Data Migration from Storage and Server platforms.
Participate on project teams to deploy solutions onDell EMC, Rubrik, Cohesity, Commvault, Nutanix, & NetApp
Lead a team of technical delivery resources
Lead development and testing activities on PowerMax, XtremIO, Unity, Isilon, DataDomain, Avamar, Vxrail, VxFlex, VxBlock, & HyperFlex
Lead in the architecture and design of complex solutions
Lead the creation of written deliverables
Lead client demos and working sessions
Lead integration design sessions and deployment
Participate as technical expert in client workshops
Influence direct team members and external customers regarding policies, best practices and procedures
Mentor junior staff and support project leadership
Obtain and maintain certifications with associated qualifications

Qualifications

Subject Matter Expert in File and Object Data analysis and Data Migration
Subject Matter Expert in Block Data Migration from Storage and Server platforms.
Subject Matter Expert in use of data migration tooling, including Data Dobi, Komprise, and Cirrus Data Solutions.
Subject matter expert with PowerMax, XtremIO, Unity, Isilon, DataDomain, Avamar, Vxrail, VxFlex, VxBlock, & HyperFlex
Expert level implementation / architect skills with Storage / Data Protection related technologies
Mastery in at least one Storage / Data Protection related technology
Strong skills integrating with third party tools
Strong presentation skills
Strong project and situational awareness

Strong attention to detail
Self-starter
Able to travel of at least 25%

The compensation range indicated in this posting reflects the On-Target Earnings (“OTE”) for this role, which includes a base salary and any applicable target bonus amount. This OTE range may vary based on the candidate’s relevant experience, qualifications, and geographic location.
