We are seeking a highly technical and results-driven Senior Technical Program Manager to own the foundational services for both our cloud infrastructure and the core software platform that runs on every Digit robot. You will be the central force driving the roadmap and execution for the critical systems that enable our engineers to build, test, and deploy the software that brings our robots to life. <h3>About the Team</h3> As a key member of the Software TPM team, you will be deeply embedded within the Infrastructure department, a multi-disciplinary group that forms the bedrock of our engineering efforts. This team’s scope consists of five key pillars: Compute Platform, Data Platform, Robot Platform, Release Engineering, and Security &amp; Networking. You will partner closely with engineering leads across this entire domain. <h3>What Youll Do</h3> <ul> <li>Drive the Core Engineering Roadmap: Own and execute the end-to-end program roadmap for our foundational engineering platforms. Your scope will span from our cloud-based CI/CD pipelines and simulation tooling to the very core of our Robot OS and system software.</li> <li>Unify Cloud and Robot Systems: Lead large-scale technical programs that bridge our cloud and robot ecosystems. You will ensure teams are aligned on delivering unified solutions for build systems, data collection, and release engineering that work seamlessly from development to deployment on the robot.</li> <li>Translate Strategy into Execution: Partner with Product Management and senior engineering leaders to translate the high-level vision for developer tools, robot OS, and platform reliability into a detailed, actionable plan with clear scope, milestones, and success criteria.</li> <li>Champion Technical Excellence: Engage deeply with engineering teams on complex technical challenges that span distributed systems and embedded software. You will facilitate architectural discussions, help navigate trade-offs, and ensure the solutions we build are scalable, reliable, and robust.</li> <li>Systematically Dismantle Roadblocks: Act as the key problem-solver for the Infrastructure Org. You will proactively identify risks, manage complex dependencies between hardware and software, and dismantle roadblocks to ensure predictable delivery.</li> <li>Provide Clarity and Alignment: Serve as the central point of communication for your programs.
